Erandi River (एरंडी नदी) is a tributary of Narmada River.

History

Tej Ram Sharma [1] mentions.... It is stated in the Kurma and Matsya Puranas that a man who commits suicide at any tirtha on the Narmada or on the Amarakantaka does not return to this world. Several rivers such as Kapila, Visalya, Erandi, Iksunadi and Kaveri are mentioned as falling into the Narmada.

कर्णिका

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[3] ने लेख किया है ...कर्णिका (AS, p.145) कर्णिका बृहत् शिवपुराण में 1,75 में उल्लिखित है। संभवत: यह उरी और नर्मदा के संगम पर स्थित कर्नाली है। (न. ला. डे)
