Regarding a misconception.

Ashokji we observe two things on jatland : 1. As a policy discussed many times we write standard spelling only Jat. No other spelling. 2. Gotra is to be preferred as a surname so in the infobox we need not to write other things. Infobox should be in standard format. Lateron it will difficult to amend. Ashokji we are already compiling Rajasthani dictionary. See Glossary_of_Rajasthani_Language

We should keep same pattern of transliteration. You can see in above Rajasthani dictionary the Tips for pronunciation of Rajasthani words are: a (अ ) as a in "America", ā (आ) as a in “father”; i (इ) as i in “ill”, ī (ई) as ee in “eel”; u (उ) as u in “full”, ū (ऊ) as oo in “fool”; ṇ as nna (ण), ḷ as lla (ळ), ṅ as nga (ङ), ñ as nya (ञ), ś as sha (श), ṣ as ssa (ष), ḍ as dda (ड़), ṭ as ट, t as त

Also, I believe that you have already read this: User talk:Lrburdak#File:Ancestral Scythian migration of Jat people.gif. Could the problem be due to some settings in the system? Perhaps, the system is set (this website had an upgrade some time back) to display low resolutions now, or by mistake kept in that state (default state?), and the settings were not customized after the upgrade? Ashok ji, can you slightly reduce the resolutions of this GIF, and take then test it again? If that doesn't work, then try reducing the resolutions even more (while trying the best to not excessively loose the quality of display). मैं भी यही सोच रहा था। जो पहले से अपलोडेड फाइल है उसका resolution कम करके उपयोग लेने पर नहीं दिखती, उसके वास्तविक resolution या उससे अधिक उपयोग में लेने पर यह आसानी से दिख जाती है। जैसे [[File:Ancestral Scythian migration of Jat people.gif|300px]] लिखने पर पृष्ठों में नहीं दिखती। अगर इसके बजाए [[File:Ancestral Scythian migration of Jat people.gif|1000px]] लिखने से यह आसानी से दिख जाती है पर इसकी साइज बड़ी हो जाती है। इस समस्या को हल करने के लिए मैंने दो टेस्ट फाइल्स अपलोड की है। पहली फाइल जिसे मैंने पुरानी फाइल से ही वापस बनाया है, सोचा था की यह तरीका काम कर जाएगा पर ऐसा नहीं हुआ :( दूसरी फाइल को कुछ अलग तरीके का उपयोग करके बनाया वह काम कर गई पर उसमें भी एक समस्या है, पन्नो में लेयर्स बदल नहीं रही। उसे पूरा खोलने पर ही वह GIF वाला काम कर रही है और पन्नो पर केवल सामान्य चित्र की तरह नजर आती है।

अब इस समस्या को सुलझाने के निम्न तरीके है:

• एक पूरी तरह से नया चित्र बनाना
• पुराणी फाइल का resolution कम करके वापस अपलोड करना (गुणवत्ता कम होगी, कम resolution वाली फोटो को खोलने पर पिक्सेल्स बिखरेंगे)
• अगर समस्या वीकी की है, इसे अपग्रेड करते समय यह समस्या उत्पन्न हुई है तो किसने इसे अपग्रेड किया उनसे बात करनी पड़ेगी। शायद लक्ष्मण जी बता सकते हैं इस विकी को कौन चला रहा है। उनसे इस काम के अलावा और भी दुसरे काम करवाने हैं।

I am not good with softwares/apps, but fortunately, this is your area of interest/work, so kindly make a really good file for all the readers of JL Wiki. I am suggesting you to create a new file because the map of India is incorrectly displayed in the present file (see the J&K region), and the user who uploaded is no longer an active contributor, so it is not possible to reach out to him. I request you to kindly name the new file as Ancestral Scythian migration of Jats. It would be best to make a file in which national boundaries of nations are not highlighted/shown (trust me, many people from different nations can possibly get upset depending on how the national boundaries are marked in the picture). Choose a really good picture to work on, as we have a good readership. When you make a new file, kindly make sure that the arrows/route that shows the migration of Jats, remains unchanged (as displayed as in the original file, remains unchanged). Not working at this resolution, but if we see it in 2055x1349 resolution then its working great!

Already uploaded the new one, but still it is facing the same problem of resolution. I see a note on this file's page: Note: Due to technical limitations, thumbnails of high resolution GIF images such as this one will not be animated. Ashok Ji, are you sure that you are getting the arrows right (as in the original file)? I can clearly see significant deflections. Kindly maintain the same directions for arrows as in the original file. It's ok to loose some resolutions, but not the quality of information presented to our readers. New 600x391 resolution GIF

2. Write the previous name
3. Be sure that the namespace is correct in the left box (eg. (Main), Talk, User Talk, ..etc)

If it's not too much to ask, can I ask you to get the revision histories back for all the pages moved by OGJatt (including JatLand Wiki:Chaupal, Jatland Library, and Wiki Moderators)? While doing that, you may need to revert me, and kindly do so. Before doing that, if required, copy the content (if the article is fixed), and then copy-paste the content to replace vandalised content or deletion log, if necessary.
