Bhariya
Bhariya (भड़िया) Bharia (भड़िया) Bhadia (भडिया) Bhadiya (भडिया) Bhadiye (भडि़ये)[1][2] Bhadiya (भादिया) Bhadia (भादिया) [3] gotra Jats are found in Rajasthan. They were supporters of Chauhan Confederacy.
Origin
This gotra is said to be started from place named Bhadiya. [4]
Villages founded by Bhadiya people
- Banthod (बांठोद) - village in Fatehpur tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan.
- Rol (रोहल) or Rol (रोल) - village in Fatehpur tahsil in Sikar district of Rajasthan.
- Sonasar (सोनासर) (1616 AD) - village in tehsil Jhunjhunu of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan was founded by Sona Ram Bhadia in year 1616 who gave the name Sonasar to the village.
- Thathawata (Churu) - Founded in about 1200 AD by Thatha Badia.
History
Bhadia Jats founded villages Thathawata in Churu district. About 800 years back the founder of the village Thatha Bhadia left charagahas on all sides of the village in the name of his family members. In the east side of village left Kishananu, which is now site of a Pakka Johad. In the north he left Ramani, which has now been occupied by harijans from the village. In the south he left Goganu and Rukhani. In west left Ukalai and Hiranu. All these are common lands used for grazing of the cattle.
Banthod and Rol villages in Sikar district were also founded by Bhariya Jats. Banthod is probably biggest village of Bhadias with about 200 families. Some families went to Khotia village from Banthod.
The village Sonasar (Jhunjhunu) was founded by Sona Ram Jat of Bhadia gotra in year 1616 who gave the name Sonasar to the village.
Bhadiya people of Churi Miyan village came from Bhinchari in Samvat 1632 (1575 AD) and settled here. Earlier it was inhabited by Sarawag Jats.[5]
Bhariya is also a village in Sarada tahsil in Udaipur District in Rajasthan.

डॉ. गोपीनाथ शर्मा [7]लिखते हैं कि यह लेख कल्हण के राज्य में नाणक भोक्ता राजपुत्र लषण आदि परिवार द्वारा प्रत्येक रहट से पैदावार का कुछ भाग शांतिनाथ की यात्रा निमित्त अनुदान दिया, ये ग्राम पंचकुल समक्ष दिया गया. इससे पंचकुल जैसी संस्था की विशेषता का परिचय मिलाता है. इसका मूल पाठ इस प्रकार है:

लालराई शांतिनाथ मंदिर का लेख ११७६ ई.
इस लेख के बारे में डॉ. गोपीनाथ [9] लिखते हैं की इसमें आस-पास के गाँवों की खाड़ी से (भंडार) जव तथा अरहट से पैदावार का गूजरी यात्रा निमित्त देने का उल्लेख है. यह लेख स्थानीय भाषा के शब्दों को जैसे 'तुहार' (त्यौहार) संस्कृत में प्रयोग किया गया है. यहाँ राजपूत शब्द के लिए राजपुत्र शब्द का प्रयोग किया गया है. इसका मूल पाठ साथ के बाक्स में है.
XV Lalrai Stone Inscription of Kelhanadeva S.V. 1233 (1176 AD)
This Inscription was found amongst the scattered ruins of a Jaina temple at Lalrai, 5 miles north-east of Bali Pali. It has 18 lines of writing. Characters are Nagari.The letter ḍ is denoted by a ear-ring sign. The record is dated Thursday, the 13th of the dark half of Jyeshtha, the vikram year 1233. It refers to the rule of Maharajadhiraja Kelhanadeva ruling at Nadula. It then tells us that Rajaputra Lakhanapalha and the Rajaputra Abhayapala proprietors (bhoktri) of Sinanava and sons of Kirtipala, doubtless younger brother of Kelhana and donar of the Nadol plates made a grant conjointly with queen Mahibaladevi in the presence of village pancha (pancha-kula) for celebrating the festival of god Shantinatha. The grant consisted of barley corn measuring one haraka as used in the country of Gujaratri, from the araghata or machine well called urahari and belonging to the village Bhadiyauva.

Localities mentioned: As regards the localities mentioned in the record Sinanava which is also called Samnanaka in No. XVI is doubtless Sonana mentioned in the last epigraph. Bhadiyauva also occurs in XVI is to be treated as Badwa (Barwa) 5 miles south-west of Lalrai. Samipati is Sevadi. Gujaratra is also mentioned in XVI is the name of Gurjaratri of Daulatpura charter of the Imperial Pratihara Bhojadeva I, which comprised the modern district of Parbatsar, Maroth and Didwana. Nadula is Nadol.
लालराई के जैन मंदिर का वर्ष 1176 ई. का लेख
डॉ. गोपीनाथ [11] लिखते हैं कि इसी प्रकार लालराई (बाली से दक्षिणपूर्व स्थित ) के जैन मंदिर का वर्ष 1176 ई. का एक और भी लेख है जिसमें राजपूत के लिए राजपुत्र शब्द का प्रयोग किया गया है. इसका समय ज्येष्ठ कृष्णा 13 गुरुवार संवत 1233 है जब राजस्थान के जालोर जिले में स्थित नाडोल पर चौहान महाराजाधिराज केल्हनदेव का शासन था. उसके राजपुत्र लखनपाल व राजपुत्र अभयपाल सिनाणव के भोक्ता (जागीरदार) थे. उन्होंने तथा रानी श्री महिदेवी ने ग्राम पंचों के समक्ष श्री शांतिनाथ देव के रथयात्रा के उत्सव निमित्त भाडिया व ग्राम के उरहारी रहट से गुजराती नाप के एक हारक यव प्रदान किये. इसकी साक्षी भी प्रमुख व्यक्तियों ने दी जिनके नाम लेख में मिट गए हैं. इस लेख में उस समय की जागीर व्यवस्था तथा तारक और हारक नाप तथा उरहारी खेत विशेष के उल्लेख मिलते हैं जो उस समय प्रयुक्त नाप के बोधक हैं. इसमें पंचकुल की प्रधानता भी अंकित है.
