Jawra (जावरा), is the tahsil Headquarters, and a village in Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh.

इतिहास

जावरा में यहाँ के नवाब द्वारा नदी के किनारे बनवाया गया दर्शनीय शिव मंदिर तथा दूसरे किनारे पर बनवाई गई विशाल मस्जिद दर्शनीय है. यहाँ की डोल ग्यारस की झांकियां मालवा में प्रसिद्द हैं. शहर के आस-पास एक विशाल परकोटा था. जिसमें ६ दरवाजे थे जो जीर्ण-शीर्ण हो गए हैं. केवल रावण दरवाजा मौजूद है. [1]
