Chadhary Rajender Singh Sorot of village Palri Hodal. He was descendent of Bal Ram Sorot (brother of Maharani Kishori - wife of Maharaja Suraj Mal. He was married to Shobhana was daughter of Sardar Harlal Singh Dular of village Hanumanpura in Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan. son is Chaudhary Harsh Kumar Sorot MLA and Minister

Bio

B.Sc.(Agri.) from Layalpur was the veteran leader of Brij and Mewat Area. Besides this he had also contributed in the field of education in rural areas. He established many educational institutions including Jat high School, Hodal, Brij Mandal Degree College Hodal and Maharani Kishori Memorial Kanya Mahavidhyalay Hodal, which is catering the need of education to the girls of remote areas of Mewat and Brij. He had also been elected Chairman, Market Committee comprising of Hodal, Hassanpur, Hathin and Punhana.
