"Baron Landlords of Delhi" Ch Ranjit Singh Dabas of Kanjhawla. Northern region of New Delhi is dominated by a very powerful and brave clan of dabas jats, who according our estimates owns 24,588 acres of land in this side of capital. Clustered around their head village Kanjhawala ,they are very proud and defiant of any superior authority, which led to several armed clashes between muslim courts of red fort and rebellious zamindars. Vast swathes of their lands were acquired by DDA to construct modern township of Rohini.
