Hanbi

Hanbi (हनबी) is a Muslim Jat clan found in in Dera Ghazi Khan, Pakistan.

History

Hanbi (हनबी) Jat tribe, which has one branch settled in the Gurchani and another in the Tibbi Lund country of tahsil Jampur in Dera Ghazi Khan, where for purposes of tribal organization they are reckoned as belonging to those tribes. The tribe has adopted Baloch manners, customs* and dress.

According to 1911 census the Hanbi were the principal Muslim Jat clan in district with population -
