Kasra (कासरा) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.



Title of Kings in Persian


Kasra = A variant of the Persian name Khosrow.

Sir H. M. Elliot, Edited by John Dowson[1] writes....In the Roman empire they (kings) take the title of Cæsar, which descends upon all those who wield the supreme power. Among the Aghzaz they are called Shái Shá, or king of kings, a title hereditary like the rest. Finally, among the Persians they are called Kásra (Chosroes).

According to 1901 census the Kasra Population was 204 in Jhang.
