Khanadi (खानड़ी) or Khanri (खानड़ी) is a medium-size village in Danta Ramgarh tahsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan.

It is located on Losal-Khur road.

Population

As per Census-2011 statistics, Khanri village has the total population of 1488 (of which 793 are males while 695 are females).[1]

History

It was founded by Ranwa Jats. Sahajarao was the ancestor of Ranwa gotra who left Nagaur in vikram samvat 1111 and founded village Saamikhera and constructed fort and Shiva temple there. Later on, 12 sons of Sahaja founded the villages Jachas, Bhikhanwasi, Khanadi, Karkedi, Maulasar, Makrana, Bai, Buchyasi, Bhurbhura, Jabdinagar, Chausal and Hirani.
