Maharaja Kharak Singh (Punjabi: ਖੜਕ ਸਿੰਘ, February 22, 1801 – November 5, 1840), was a Jat Sikh ruler of the sovereign kingdom of Lahore Durbar Government located in Punjab. He was the eldest legitimate son of Ranjit Singh of Lahore and Maharani Datar Kaur. He succeeded his father in June 1839. He was removed from power on 8 October 1839 and replaced by his son Prince Nau Nihal Singh. Kharak Singh became a prisoner and died from a slow poisoning on 5 November 1840.
