The Rajper Tribe
The Rajper Tribe are a Muslim Jat Gotra (Clan), they are the sons of another Muslim Jat Gotra, the Samma who ruled Sindh for a large amount of time. The Rajpers used to be tax-collectors in the Sindhu Darya (Indus River) but after the end of the Mughals, they have been doing what they traditionally did, farming.
Tribal information
The Rajpers are of Rajput and Jat status, while in-descent they are Jat, in status they are Rajput. The average Rajper thinks himself to be by blood a Jat. The Rajpers are one of the largest tribes of Sindh aswell. They are controlled by a Sardar who has minimal control over the tribal villages.
