MLA from Muzzafarnagar (Jansath North), His Son Late Rajendra Kumar and Grand Son Anil Raj Kumar are both Retired IAS Officers. He is the Great Grandson of Ch. Shahjad Singh and Balwant Singh Bagh in Muzaffarnagar is named after him.
