Dhandhupura

Dhandhupura (धांधूपुरा) a village and it was a small fortress of Sikarwar gotra Jats near Agra city in Uttar Pradesh. The founder of the village was thakur Ram Singh. This area of Dhandhupura was centre of army avctivities since 12th century. There were gardens of Amir-ul-Umras during Mughal period. There was a royal well on left side of Fatehabad Road-Pandit Satyanarayan Kaviraj Road leading to Dhandhupura, which was to be used for the army during Mughal rule. During British time the Jagir of Dhandhupura was with the thakurs of village.
