'Wantar Shah' Shardul Singh the ruler of Firozabad.

He was a Sikarwar Jat who was born in the Zamindar family o which held a Mauza in Mahawan Pargana. He rose into revolt against Mughals. Soon he conquered Mahaban Pargana from Mughal and declared himself King and adopted the title of 'Wantar Shah'.

As part of expansion he drive his attention towards Firozabad whose Governor was Hakim Kasim. Wantar Shah with his 5,000 men led an expedition to Firozabad. The Fauzdar came to challenged him with the 11,000 men.In the middle of the battle Surjan Singh killed Hakim Kasim and the Mughal forces fled away making Wantar Shah Surjan Singh the King of Firozabad. Wantar Shah Surjan Singh ruled Firozabad for 30 years till his death in 1760.
