Kunwar Jagat Singh

Kunwar Jagat Singh is MLA from Laxmangarh constituency in Alwar district from Congress party. He is son of former External Affairs minister Kunwar Natwar Singh. The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee has expelled him from the party for his alleged involvement in the oil-for-food scam and for "anti-party activities.

The action against Jagat Singh has come on the account of his comments in a rally organized by the Rajasthan Kisan Sangarsh Samiti, a newly formed body which has the backing of the Rajasthan Jat Mahasabha, on August 23 2006 in Jaipur. The rally was attended by about one lakh people from various parts.
