Tatran (तातरान) Tataran (तातरान) Tatrana (तातराणा) is a gotra of Jats. This gotra originated from mahapurusha named Tatarama (तातराम). They are from branch of Gulias. ^[1]

History

They are the Tatars of Central Asia (Tatren in German) and perhaps, the Tittira of Mahabharata who were fighting of the side of Pandavas. ^{[2] [3]} Dilip Singh Ahlawat has mention it as one of the ruling Jat clans in Central Asia. ^[4]
