The book is a monograph of 110 pages in the English language. It was reprinted by VIRSA PUBLISHING HOUSE P.O.Box 1184 ISLAMABAD-PAKISTAN by permission of the original publisher Duncker&Humbolt, Berlin. It deals inter-alia, with topics like - identity of zutt and Jat; jat tribe of the delta;different ways of life; different meanings of the word Jat;Jat of the North;some aspects of the history of the Jat in Pakistan; the origin of the Jat; Jat in the countries west of Pakistan.
