Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India : An appraisal

Its about time these "Boys" realize that this time punishment will be severe. Or for that matter, i am waiting to see if they gonna try any of their misadventures.
 
Prominent Social activist Anna Hazare has expressed anguish over non-fulfillment of the promises made by Narender Modi as BJP leader during his election campaign which the latter has forgotten after becoming P M. He, in a letter has reminded the PM to implement the promises made and also requested him, at least, to formally acknowledge receipt of his letters before throwing them in 'waste paper basket'.

Read extract of the letter below and comment how far Anna is justified in his criticism of the government:

In his latest letter, Hazare said the Modi government should implement the Lokpal and Lokayukta laws properly to curb corruption and also take steps to ensure that farmers got remunerative prices for their produce."Corruption rose during the Congress-led regime earlier. Nobody could get work done in any office earlier without paying bribe. "People trusted your words but even today no work gets done without paying money. Inflation has also not come down,""Promise of bringing back black money has also not been kept. You don't speak of implementation of the Lokpal and Lokayukta laws passed for curbing corruption. May be you have forgotten the things which you promised," Hazare said.

Hazare also recalled that when he undertook the fast at Ramlila ground in Delhi it was not only the then Congress government but also BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley had given an assurance in Parliament that the anti-corruption legislation will be passed.

Still remember what Modi used to say. "Pakistan ko ussi ki bhasha mei jawab dena chahiye, ye love letter likhna band karna chahiye".

And all that tone got changed as soon as he came into power. Bottom line is, these days most of the diplomacy is defined by Businessmen. Businessmen have become stronger post liberalization. They have more money and thats why they have power. Politicians are just the executors.

What they say in open in front of public is completely different to what they do in the background. Whoever does a better showcase of Patriotism, nationalism wins the heart of public and thus wins the electorate. Kezri type people used Corruption agenda to fulfill their political dreams. It's just about performing drama on the stage. BJP does it all the time, congress does it all the time. They are no different.

Anyway on topic,Nawaz and Sajjan Jindal are close family friends. Both are in steel business. When Nawaz was in India, he stayed at Sajjan's residence. Sajjan's company has invested in Iron ore mining in Afghanistan in corporation with SAIL(Steel Authority of India), Public, private partnership.

Naveen Jindal also has a stake in this investment. To get this Iron Ore in India, they are preferring to choose Pakistan route which is much cheaper than taking Russian route. So it's important to take Nawaz into confidence. This is all about business. I am not saying this is wrong. I think it's a right step but I don't understand that fake nationalism, patriotism acting this BJP does all the time when in the opposition. People like Ram Madhav then go and bring in different twist to this development to divert public's attention. Its all about politics, money and business. People just dance on whims and fancies of these politicians and businessmen.

खबर है कि पंजाब के पठानकोट में एयरफोर्स बेस कैंप पर आतंकी हमला हो गया है। अभी भी सेना की कैम्प में घुसे आतंकियों से मुठभेड़ जारी है वही कुछ आतंकी मार गिराए जा चुके है।
सभी आतंकी पाकिस्तानी बताये जा रहे है जो कश्मीर के रास्ते हिंदुस्तान में दाखिल हुए और फिर पंजाब पहुँचे।

जैसा कि मैं अपनी एक पोस्ट में इस बात की आशंका पहले ही ज़ाहिर की थीं। हाल में शुरू हुई भारत-पाक वार्ता को पटरी से उतारने की पूरी कोशिश होगी। वैसा ही कुछ हो चुका है। पाकिस्तान में हिन्दुस्तान के खिलाफ एक पूरी लॉबी काम करती है जो किसी भी कीमत पर दोनों मुल्को को दोस्ताना या अमन चैन वाले माहौल में नहीं देखना चाहती। आप यह कह सकते है कि आईएसआई और पाक आर्मी दो बड़े धड़े है जिन्हें पाकिस्तान मे नज़रअंदाज़ करना नामुमकिन है।

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी की हालत तो देखने वाली होगी। उनका तो हलक सूख चुका होगा कि अब विपक्ष को क्या जवाब देंगे जो पहले से ही उनकी हालिया पाकिस्तान दौरे को लेकर हो-हल्ला मचाये हुए है।

इसे कहते है हवन करते हुए हाथ जलना। बेचारे मोदी जी तो शांतिदूत बनने निकले थे पर इस घटना ने तो उन्हें कही का नहीं छोड़ा। ईश्वर उन्हें शक्ति दे।

वैसे अन्ना हज़ारे को अपनी बात कहने का पूरा हक़ है। हिंदुस्तान की जनता ने बड़ी उम्मीदों से बीजेपी को जनादेश दिया है। जो अपेक्षाएं थी वो पूरी होनी चाहिए। लेकिन यहाँ यह भी याद रखना ज़रूरी है कि सरकार किसी घोटाले को लेकर चर्चा में नहीं है। चीज़ें हो रही है लेकिन थोडा धीमे। सरकार के प्रयासों के नतीज़े दिखने में अभी वक़्त लगेगा।
भले ही भारत का विदेशी निवेश 40 फ़ीसदी बढ़ गया हो। पर उसका लाभ आम जनता तक पहुँचता हुआ दिखायी नहीं दे रहा। कमोंबेश यही हालात कृषि क्षेत्र के भी है जहाँ किसान वर्ग आज भी अपनी फसलों के वाज़िब दामो के लिए तरस रहा है।
सरकार को समझना होगा कि देश का समग्र विकास समाज के सभी वर्गों के विकास में निहित है। इस विकास की धारा किसान से कॉरपोरेट तक बहे तभी यह अर्थपूर्ण होगा।
अन्यथा आगामी वर्षो में इसका खामियाज़ा भुगतने के लिए सरकार तैयार रहे।

Please take this joke as a sarcasm on a serious thread.
 
Let us wait n watch for the present govt. to take action. While there will not be immediate action, but if in next 4-6 months, if no visible thing happens. Then, we can also make a conclusion on the present govt. strategy is just an eyewash. And action expected is not just an apology from Pakistan. The only thing which is accepted as a credible action is the slain bodies of these extremists sitting in Pakistan & instigating violence, terrorism in India.
