Bab

Bab (बब) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.

Bab-el-Mandeb is a strait between Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula, and Djibouti and Eritrea in the Horn of Africa. It connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden.

According to 1911 census the Bab were the principal Muslim Jat clan in district with population -

• Dera Ghazi Khan : Bab (5,257)

Bab (बब) — A Muhammadan Jat clan is found in Montgomery and Multan.
