Khallu (खल्लु) [1] [2] Khalu (खलु)[3] is a gotra of Jats.
Origin
History
Ram Swarup Joon[4] writes that...Kuharh, Kalhari, Khailari, Khalu and Kalhur are one and the same. All of the are descendants of Rao Kallur and their names are a little different because they settled down in different places.
H.A. Rose writes that Ghaunrar (घौनरर), a sept of Rajputs, descended from Mian Bajokhar, son of Saugar Chand, 16th Raja of Kalhur. [5]
