Khandi Khera (खांडी खेड़ा ) is a village in Tehsil Tanda in district Rampur in Uttar Pradesh.

It is situated 19 km far from Tanda tehsil and 54 k.m. far from Rampur and 4 k.m. far from Uttarakhand boarder.

The Founders

In 1948 Captain Khubi Ram was in Indian army who came in Rampur Nawab army after independence, Nawab gave 100 acres land to captain Khubi Ram. After that some more people arrive here and took more land for farming.

Capt Khubi Ram Khichar

Khubi Ram Khichar (Captain) (1909-01.06.1993) was born at Bandaheri village in Hisar district of Haryana. He joined Indian Army in 1924. He took part in World War II, arrested by Japanese army, was POW for sometime. He joined Rampur State Force 1947-1949. After Independence the Govt of India allotted him 100 acre land at Khandi Khera village in Rampur District, Uttar Pradesh. He spent rest of his retired life there and died on 01.06.1993.
