Maharaja Hanuwant Singh (महाराज हनुवन्त सिंह ) is 9th and present titular Maharaja of Nabha since 24th July 1995.

Birth and education

He was born 5th December 1948 in Dholpur, Rajasthan, educated at Doon School, Dehra Dun, Uttaranchal; graduated from Hindu College (Delhi University) in 1969, and thereafter studied in School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London (U.K).,

Marriage

He was married on 12th December 1970 in Bharatpur, Maharajkumari Deergh Kaur, [HH Maharani Deergh Kaur of Nabha], fourth daughter of Col. HH Shri Maharaja Sawai Vrijendra Singh Bahadur of Bharatpur, and his second wife, HH Maharani Videh Kaur, and has issue, two sons. [1]

His family

Tikka Yudhister Singh, born 5th December 1972 in Delhi, married 16th February 1997, Kumari Shri Jahnavi Kumari, twin daughter of Kumar Shri Atmanayadevsinhji of Wadhwan, and his wife, Maharajkumari Kamakshi Devi Yavaru, daughter of HH Maharaja Shri Sir Jaya Chamaraja Wadiyar Bahadur of Mysore, and has issue, one son.

Rajkumar Sangram Singh, born 26th March 1998.

Maharajkumar Kirat Singh, born 17th December 1975 in Delhi, married 9th May 1997, Kumari Shri Gautami Devi, twin daughter of Kumar Shri Atmanayadevsinhji of Wadhwan, and his wife, Maharajkumari Kamakshi Devi Yavaru, daughter of HH Maharaja Shri Sir Jaya Chamaraja Wadiyar Bahadur of Mysore, and has issue, one son.

Rajkumar Samar Singh, born 10th February 2000.
