Nagla Mishria (नगला मिश्रिया) is a village in Sasni tahsil of Hathras district in Uttar Pradesh.

Location

Nagla Mishria is located near Tochhigarh village.

Origin

It got the name from Thakur Mishri Singh of Thakurela gotra, the branch of Kakran.

  • Founded by Thakurela Jats. (Thakur Mishri Singh - Zamindar and founder of this village).

History

It was founded by Thakur Mishri Singh who migrated from Peepali village of Lagsama region of Iglas tehsil in Aligarh district.He established this village Zamindari of 1000 bighas of land.It was established in early 1800's AD.All the descendants of Thakur Mishri Singh are referred as "Thakur Sahab" by other people.Traditional brahman of this clan is Pandit Basantlal at present.

There was approximately 100 year old haveli which is now renovated in the form of modular Kothi which is owned by Thakur Trilok Singh at present.

It has very small population of 600 people.

  • Thakur Trilok Singh Thakurela-s/o Thakur Khamani Singh. A renowned poet awarded by Rajasthan Sahitya Akadami,Punjab Kala Sahitya Akadami and many other Akadami.Presently working as an engineer in North Western Railways.
