Ishwar Singh Kundu

Ishwar Singh Kundu (ईश्वर सिंह कुंडू) is an innovative farmer from village Kailram (कैलरम) in district Kaithal in Haryana. He has developed an herbal pesticide after four years of extensive research, which destroys the insects and pests harming crops but does not harm insects useful to the crops.

President of India, Abdul Kalam Ajad, awarded him on 13-02-2007 for his achievements with an incentive amount of Rs. 1 Lakh to continue his research.
