Kathariya

Kathariya (कठारिया) Katharia (कठारिया) is a gotra of Jats. The region from Muradabad to Badanyun was known as Kathhar. These people are known as kathariya in Rajputs and Kathariya or Kataria in Jats. There is mention of rishi Kath in Kathopanishada. ^[1]
