Bundera is mentioned in Verse-18 of Amoda Plates Of Jajalladeva II - (Kalachuri) Year 919 (=1167 AD).....Bundera, the donated village, is probably Bundèlâ, 11 m south-west of Amôda. (V. 18) To those two Brâhmanas, Jâjalladëva (II) of noble nature, who deprived the wives of hostile kmgs of the parting Ime of (their) haïr, granted with proper ntes a viUage named Bundërâ.
