Kawas (कवास) is a village in Baytu Tahsil of Barmer district in Rajasthan.

History

Kawas came into news when it was inundated due to monsoon rains on 19-20 August 2006. The region faced the worst flood in last 100 years. Several hamlets and villages were wiped out. [1]
