Naoshera (नौशेहरा), also 'Naushehra', Nowshera, Naushirwan (Urdu: نوشہره), is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.

The Founders


Sir Lepel H. Griffin writes that Chaudhari Sarwani 15th in descend from Sher, founder of clan, Shergill, built the village of Naoshera, otherwise known as Raipur Sarwani and got in jagir. [1]

Randhawa Chief of Khundha

Ram Sarup Joon[2] writes that ... The ancestor of this dynasty, Randhawa, was very famous in Rajasthan. His son Kajal Singh, became the leader of a Jattha in Patiala and worked with enthusiasm and occupied the Parganas of Nowshera, Jafarwal, Khurha and Shahpur.
