Rawat or Chhonkar

What is the gotra of my village Bahin, Palwal?? Some say Rawat and others say Chhonkar. Which gotra should be used in marriage purposes?? I am using Rawat as my gotra. ...Rajsjaat20911

You have deleted this well referenced sentence from Rawat history, which is answer to your querry....Rawat (रावत) and Sahrawat were only titles used by Chandravanshi sardars which later began to be used as gotras. Chhonkar is Gotra and Rawat is title. Laxman Burdak (talk) 05:51, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
