Mahajan(महाजन) is a village in Lunkaransar tehsil of Bikaner district in Rajasthan, India. It is situated on Bikaner-Ganganagar road near the border of Ganganagar district. Population of Mahajan, as of 2001, is 7147 out of them 842 are Scheduled Caste and 38 ST.
History
It was one of the districts in the republic of Johiya Jats in Jangladesh, whose chief was Sher Singh having 600 villages in his state with capital at Bhurupal. The districts included in his state were Jaitpur, Kumana, Mahajan, Peepasar, Udasar.
