Chuwas

Chuwas (चुवास) is a jat village, located in south-west direction at a distance of about 12 km from Fatehpur tehsil of Sikar district in Rajasthan. The village was founded by Asa Ram Godara, who had come from a village 'Runia ka Bara Bas' near Bikaner in samvat 1465. He had come here with Chinia Chamar, saraswat Brahman, Dhama Khati and tank Nai. Some of Godaras moved from here to village sutod in Sutod, Mandela and Nali in north.
Jat gotras in the village
Most of families in the village are of Jats of Gotras Godara. The other Jat gotras with number of familieas are Godara (45), Beniwal (15), Vijayrania (15), Takariya (6), Punia (5) and Saran (15).

The other castes in Chuwas are Brahman (60), Shekhawat Rajput (7), Balai (18), Naik (4), Nai (4), and Khati (8).
