Dulchasar

Dulchasar (दुलचासर) is a Jat village, mainly of Mahia gotra, in tehsil Dungargarh of Bikaner district in Rajasthan. It is situated at a distance of 25 km from ShriDungargarh in the southwest direction at a distance of 50 km from Bikaner. This is a well-connected village by road and rail. The nearest railhead is Soodsar.

History
Dulram Mahia Jat founded the village about 200 years back. He gave the name Dulchasar to this village. Village is politically active. The main source of income of the residents is from agriculture and business. Education needs improvement.
Jat Gotras in the village
There are 3500 people residing in the village out of them 150 families are of Mahia, the biggest gotra Jats in the village. The Godara, Kaswan and Dharang jats have only a few families. Other castes are Brahman, Baniya, Nayak, Meghwal, Nai, Swami and Suthar.
Notable persons from the village
- Revant Ram Mahia, has been MLA, twice in ShriDungargarh constituency, is resident of this village and has played important role for the development of the village.
- Kishan Lal Mahia, Chairman of Churu Cooperative Bank is also a resident of this village.
