Ghughera
Ghughera (घुघेरा) is village in Palwal district in Haryana. Ghughera is situated near Palwal town at a distance of 5 km. from Palwal on NH-71B. It was founded by Ohlan Jats who migrated from village Garhi Sampla. The village is thus associated with Sir Chhotu Ram, an Ohlan Jat.

History
The story of migration from Ohlan Jats from Garhi Sampla is interesting. Before independence during British rule my great grand father & his brother murdered a person of teli caste due to his association with the firangis. The Teli used to leak all secret informations of village to firangis & created trouble for villagers. So they decide to finish him & they did so. After that incident all villagers decided to leave that village. Our G. grand father left the village for some time otherwise firangis would have killed them. After some time the matter cooled down & environment was safe in village so other members called back them but they decided to establish village Ghughera near Palwal. After that Sir Chhotu Ram came to meet them in Ghughera & asked them to go back to Garhi Sampla but they refused and said they were happy there. They felt very loneliness so they called some Dagars from a nearby village Dhatir. This way the village Ghughera was founded.
