Khaunda

Khaunda is a village in tehsil Sadabad of Hathras district in Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at a distance of 25 km from Hathras. This is an old historical village. This village includes four villages Chhatargadhi, Juliagadhi, Banjara dera chhota and Banjara mura bada. Chhargarhi was a big garhi of Zamindari times. This gadhi is known as that of Baba Sugreev Singh. This is a well-connected and well-developed village. There is a temple of Mahadev.
Jat Gotras in the village
There are 7000 people residing in the village. Jats are in majority in the village. Badhautia gotra Jats are in majority in Jats. Khaunda is main village out of eight and half Badhautia villages in this region. The other Jat gotras in the village are Kuntal, Thenua, Chhaunkar and Bharangar.
