Ram Lal Chaudhary

Ram Lal Chaudhary (रामलाल चौधरी) is politician from Nagaur district in Rajasthan. He was born in 1937 at village Baggar, tehsil Merta in Nagaur district in the family of Chaudhary Chautha Ram, a Hindu Jat of Jajra gotra. He got his primary education at village. He did not get higher education.

He was politically very conscious and active due to which he was elected as sarpanch of village Baggar at a very early age from 1953-1959. Later he was elected as Pradhan of Riya Panchayat Samiti from 1960-1971. He was elected MLA of Rajasthan Assembly twice in 1972 and again in 1985. He was a devoted social worker due to which he was awarded as "Jat Ratna" in 1991.
