Birra (बिर्रा) is a village in tahsil Champa of Janjgir-Champa district in Chhattisgarh. Hasdeo River joins Mahanadi River near Shiladehi (Birra).

It is situated 35km away from sub-district headquarter Champa (tehsildar office) and 15km away from district headquarter Janjgir. According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Birra village is 436888. Birra village is located in Champa tehsil of Janjgir Champa district in Chhattisgarh, India. As per 2009 stats, Birra village is also a gram panchayat. The total geographical area of village is 1383.67 hectares.[1]
