Jagdishpur (जगदीशपुर) is a village in Bulandshahr (बुलंदशहर) district in Western Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 30 Kms south-east of District Headquarter on Bulandshahr-Narora Atomic Power Station Highway.

History

Jagdishpur was founded by Vaire (वैरे) Jats, who migrated from Jahazgarh in Jhajjar district of Haryana.85 % of village population are Jats and rest are Muslims and SC's. Also 80% of Jat population are Vaire (वैरे)

Smt. Sheela Devi (Vaire) is Gram Pradhan of Jagdishpur-Naurangabad Gram Panchayat and Jagdishpur has population of 2,500.

Now, Jagdishpur (जगदीशपुर) village is under Shikarpur Assembly Constituency and Bulandshahr Parliamentary Constituency after the Delimitation Commission of 2002. Earlier, it was in Debai Assembly Constituency and Khurja-NOIDA Parliamentary Constituency.
