Nohar (नोहर) is a town and tehsil of Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan. Its ancient name was Navahara (नवहर). Earlier it was a tehsil of Reni nizamat of Bikaner state in Rajputana.

Location

It is situated at 129 miles northeast of Bikaner and 58 miles west of Hisar.Earlier it was called Karotinagar. Its population consisted 34 % Jats in 1901 census. Gogameri is a famous place at 16 miles in east where a fair of Gogaji is organized every year in August-September months after Gogaji who was a Chauhan Rajput and became musalman and is said to had sway from Hansi to the sutlej in thirteenth century.
