Samantaraja

Samantaraja (समंतराज) was a Bhadu clan ruler of Jangladesh who founded Bhadra.

History

Bhadus were rulers in Jangladesh where they established an important city Bhadra. A famous ruler in Bhadus was Samantraj. Bhadus had a war with Bhagore people. After this war one of their group moved to Marwar. Bhadus also occupied many villages in Ajmer-merwara which were later occupied by Akbar.
