Kumhan

Kumhan is a village in Sewar Panchayat samiti of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan. The village was originally founded by Tewatia gotra Jats but presently there is only one family of Tewatias. The village is connected by road with Bharatpur at a distance of 15 km. When Maharaja Suraj Mal shifted his capital to Bharatpur, Sinsinwar gotra Jats of Shishwara village of Deeg came to this village and settled here. Maximum population in the village is of Tewatia Jats. A number of Chhatris are present in the village.
