Garud (गरुड़) is gotra of Jats. This gotra originated from the God Garuda (गरुड़). The descendants of him were known by gotra Garud.[1] They have been mentioned in Mahabharata Shalya Parva.

They are found in Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh in village Gandevra (Muzaffarnagar).
