Tittara (तित्तर) Tittira (तित्तिर) was a Nagavanshi mahapurusha.
Sabha Parva Mahabharata II.47.4 mentions about Tittira:
- अश्वांस तित्तिरि कल्माषांस तरिशतं शुकनासिकान
- उष्ट्रवामीस तरिशतं च पुष्टाः पीलु शमीङ्गुथैः
Bhisma Parva Mahabharata VI.46.50 mentions about Tittira:
- बाह्लिकास तित्तिराश चैव चॊलाः पाण्ड्याश च भारत
- एते जनपथा राजन थक्षिणं पक्षम आश्रिताः
Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 44 gives the list of combatants who came to the ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo. Shloka 81 names Viraja along with Tittira and Dharan.
- कॊकिला वदनाश चान्ये शयेनतित्तिरिकाननाः
- कृकलास मुखाश चैव विरजॊऽमबरधारिणः (IX.44.81)
