Location of Parbatsar in Nagaur District

Kinsaria (किणसरिया) or Kinsariya is a village in Parbatsar tahsil in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Pincode of the village is 341512. It is situated 10km away from Parbatsar town and 135km away from Nagaur city. Being a large village, Kinsariya has got its own gram panchayat. Khedarpura, Adani and Huldhani are some of the nearby villages.

Kinsariya is famous for the temple of "Keway Mata".

There is also one Kaila Devi Temple here. The granite occurs near Morad and Kinsariya village. The granite is mostly pink in colour and occurs as small boulders spreading over the soil-covered area at a number of places.[1]

History

Kinsariya inscriptions of Chachha Dahiya of 21 April 999 AD (1056-57 SV) are reported in El, Vol. XII, pp. 56-57. He is mentioned as "Kulam Dahiyākam Jātam" and the inscriptions gives at least four generations of that prince.[2]

The inscription of year 21 April 999 AD, in the temple of Kevay Goddess, at village Kinsaria (किणसरिया) in Parbatsar tahsil district Nagaur shows that Dahiyas have originated from Dadhichi Rishi. Population

According to Census-2011 information:

With total 525 families residing, Kinsariya village has the population of 2605 (of which 1366 are males while 1239 are females).[3]

Keway Mata at Kinsaria

डॉ गोपीनाथ शर्मा[4] पर इस शिलालेख के बारे में लिखते हैं कि यह लेख किणसरिया नामक स्थान पर है जो परबतसर से ४ मील दूरी पर एक पहाड़ के ऊपर कैवायमाता के मंदिर में लगाया गया था.यह लेख २३ पंक्तियां और २६ श्लोकों का है. इसकी लिपि उत्तरी वर्णमाला की है और भाषा संस्कृत है. इस लेख के आरम्भ में कात्यायनी, काली आदि देवियों की स्तुति की गयी है जो देवी के मंदिर में लगाये जाने का औचित्य प्रमाणित करता है. इसके अनंतर चाहमान वंश की प्रशस्ति देकर वाक्पतिराज, सिंहराज और दुर्लभराज की उपलब्धियों का वर्णन करता है.

प्रशस्ति के दूसरे भाग में दधिची वंश के मेघनाद, उसकी पत्नी मासटा, वेरी सिंह, दुन्दा (पत्नी) तथा चच्च के लेख हैं. इस प्रसस्ती का लेखक गोड कायस्थ महादेव था जिसका पिता कल्या स्वयं कवि था. लेख का समय रविवार वैसाख सुदी अक्षय तृतीय संवत 1056 दिया गया है.

Jat Gotras

The Jats of Karwasra and Karwa have originated from Kadavarao (कड़वाराव), the ancestor of Chachcha Rana.

Jats of Karwasra, Karwa, Bhagasra and Dahiya gotras are considered as brothers and marriages are not allowed among each of these gotras.

Siwar (सीवर) gotra originated from Raja Sivar (सिवर), the descendants of Rishi Dadhicha (दधीच). [5]

Kuharia (कुहाड़िया) gotra started after Raja Kulkhat (कुलखत). [6]

Sismal (सीसमाल) gotra originated from Maharaja Susal (सुसल). [7]

Chuhad (चू्हड़) gotra of Jats started after Maharaja Chuhad, descendand of Dadhichi.
