The village was founded by a saint around 750 years back and named it Sulakhania due to good natural qualities of the land. Sulakhania is a sanskrit word meaning ‘with good symptoms’. It was first inhabited by Punia Jats. Temples were built in the village by saint named Lalguru around 200 years back. Total number of families in village is about 300.
