Batar(बाटड़) Batan (बाटण) is gotra of Jats found in Distt Sikar and Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Bataranau is village of Batars in Sikar district, Rajasthan. It is also one of Sikh Jat Gotras. The inhabitants of Batdhan marubhumi were known as Batan. [1]
