History

Bhim Singh Dahiya [7] mentions at S.No. 128 about a Jat Clan in India, Tandi - They are now called Thandi, a Jat clan. Samavidhana Brahmana speaks of a dynasty of Tandis. [8]

Tej Ram Sharma[9] mentions about Tandi Jat clan in (9) Pistapura (पिष्टपुर) (No. 1, L. 19) : Chapter - Place-Names and their Suffixes, p.233. The Tandivada (टांडीवाद) grant of Prthivi Maharaja also refers to Pistapura. [10]

इतिहास

लोक देवता तेजाजी (1074-1103 ई.) के भाई रणजीत (रणजी) की पत्नी शेरां टांडी गोत्र की थी।

संत श्री कान्हाराम[11] ने लिखा है कि....खरनाल के धौलिया गोत्र के भाट भैरूराम की पोथी में तेजाजी के भाईयों के नाम और भाभियाँ निम्नानुसार थे –

  • 1. रूपजीत (रूपजी) ... पत्नी रतनाई (रतनी) खीचड़
  • 2. रणजीत (रणजी)...पत्नी शेरां टांडी
  • 3. गुणराज (गुणजी) ....पत्नी रीतां भाम्भू
  • 4. महेशजी ...पत्नी राजां बसवाणी
  • 5. नगराज (नगजी)....पत्नी माया बटियासर

  • लाडो दीक्षा टांडी (टांडियाल) सादपुर गांव के साधारण जाट किसान परिवार जिला अमरोहा(पश्चिमी यूपी) से है। लाडो ने 1500 मीटर रनिंग में 04: 04.78 टाइम के साथ नेशनल रिकॉर्ड ब्रेक किया है। इस से पहले ये रिकॉर्ड हरमिलन बैंस के नाम था। ओलिंपिक दस्तक होनी चाहिए। अमरोहा की धरती भी खिलाड़ियों की खान है।
