  2. Anish Bhanwala - Anish,15, became the youngest Indian gold medalist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games when he won the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event.

  • Anita Kundu - Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest two times; climbed from both the sides - the Nepal side and the China side; First Indian woman to climb Mount Everest from the China side; Sub Inspector from Hissar, Haryana; 29 yrs; climbed from Nepal side in May,2013 and from the China side on 21-5-2017; She made an attempt to climb from the China side in 2015 but the attempt was aborted due to bad weather and she had to return back midway; She started climbing from the China side in second attempt on April 11,2017 and lost contact on April 26, 2017 but finally after 41 days she unfurled Indian tricolour on Mt. Everest on Sunday, 21-5-2017
  • Asha Jhanjharia - Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest from the Nepal side at 4:05 on Monday, 22-5-2016; 38 yrs; Resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and a Nurse at a Public Health Centre, Alwar, Rajasthan; Mother of two teenagers; Husband Ajay Singh Takhar works in Rajasthan Police; A few years ago she could barely walk due to slipped vertebral disc and had to undergo surgery; Then in 2015 she completed a journey to Amarnath cave by the route through Baltal in a very short time and encouraged by army officials for finishing the journey fast she decided to climb Mt. Everest; Due to financial difficulties she tried for help from government and other agencies for sponsorship for a mountaineering course but was only assured help and not given; Finally she borrowed money from relatives and withdrew all her PPF savings to complete the course in record time;
  • Kapil Ruhil – Mountaineer; Climbed Mount Everest at 9:45 AM on 19 May, 2012 from the Nepal side; During the expedition one member of the group of seven returned midway and the other a German died on way; Very exhausted and despite adverse conditions and very little food he climbed Mt. Everest successfully; He spent Rs 23 lakhs in the expedition with in the hope that government and other sponsors will help him; Village Raichadwala, Jind istt., Haryana; Constable in Haryana Police, Kabaddi player (Played at National level); Had a childhood dream of climbing Mt. Everest; After taking a mountaineering course, he first climbed a 16,500 ft peak in Himachal Pradesh and then climbed the 18,300 ft Kuber peak in Uttarakhand;
  • Tashi and Nungshi Malik (Twin Sisters) - Mountaineers; Born 21-6-1991; First siblings and twins to climb the Seven Summits and reach the North and South Poles and complete the Adventurers Grand Slam and Three Poles Challenge; Born to Retired Col. Virender Singh Malik originally from Village Anwali, Sonepat Distt., Haryana, but now settled in Dehradun; Secured 88 % and 86 % in All India Board Exams (94 % and 92 % in Commerce); Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Sikkim Manipal University in First Division; Pursuing higher studies in Exercise and Sports Science from Invercargill, New Zealand; Appeared in TEDx Talks https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tashi+malik+and+nungshi+malik; They completed mission ‘2for7’ for Indian girl child by conquering the tallest peaks in each of the seven continents – (1) Mt.
