Re: Hello

I have read many of your posts. Your article about Jats in Indonesia is authoritative. You may want to write a scholarly article about it. As I researched the Indonesian Jats, I recently discovered that many Jat Gotras are used as a last name in Madagascar. It seems very interesting. Thanks, You may like to add more input to the facts from there so that we can expand it. Regards, saranrabar

Hellow Burdak ji, I have added some text on the following page:

http://www.jatland.com/home/Arya_Samaj

Most part of added text is in Hindi. You may suitably add some lines in English as the subject "Jats and Arya Samaj" seems to be an interesting one.

Dndeswal 13:01, 30 January 2007 (EST)

indic characters...

sir, you appear to have figured out the browser fix... you can use IE 7 or mozilla, and that works well... the prob is with the encoding of the pages, and might not be fixed by importing the template... its a more complicated fix coz of existing data probs... please hold off inserting indic characters on more pages (besides the raj lang page) for a week or so till we try and find a fix ? else we can just hope everyone upgrades the browsers to latest versions... Ndahiya 12:52, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Page names, section heads in hindi ?

sir, we need to restrict the ability to add page names in hindi, coz it can cause probs with indexing and also with referencing the pages... re section heads i am more neutral...

Ndahiya 12:52, 2 March 2007 (EST)

page names in hindi

On page names in hindi: i meant that we should only allow page titles to be in roman script for search engine indexing and other issues..

on the contributors: it might be easier to just put the contributor info at the bottom of every page? we can put them on the contributors page as well, but then someone will have to decide who all to put in that list (it should not be publically editable).. if you want to do that, I'm fine with it...

Ch. Tarif Singh

Hello Burdakji

Hope you are well. I'm writing in context of a correction in Ch. Tarif Singh's details. He is not in Janata Dal anymore. Despiet being from a zamindar family himself, he became an ardent follower of Ch. Charan Singh early in life in school and till date following his ideals. After Ch. Charan Singh, he joined Congress along with Ajit Singh and refused to be a constant party changer when Ajit Singh left Congress. He was also offered cabinet ministership twice by VP Singh government, the decisions which were overridden by Ch. Devi Lal because of the Dangi controversy. In Mr. Chandrashekhar's government, Ch. Devi Lal then himself offered Ch. Tarif Singh ministership along with other incentives, which he refused being an honest and strict adherent of principles. Just like Ch. Charan Singh, due to his lack of tact and personal ambition and presence of other Jat leaders in congress, he has not been given a chance to serve his constituency again in Congress. He is now a member of All India Parliamentary Committee of Congress and an active social leader.

Want to know source

Hello Burdak Sir,

I really appreciate the time and efforts you have put in for writing and editing so many articles in wikipedia. As a general rule, if it is an article about Jats, or about some aspect of Shekhawati, there would be some signature of your contribution to the article.

I am writing to you, specifically, about article on 'Religion' of Jat people. In the article you have claimed about Buddhist past of Jats, the Jats not following superstitious Brahminical dictates and such. I wanted to know the basis for your assertions; though I am sure you are right about that. About Buddhism in particular, is it because most of Indians were Buddhists at some point of time before Adishankara influenced Brahminical philosophy converted them? Since Jats were Indians as well and therefore they had to be Buddhist too? Is this the logic? Or is there some other source?

It would be really nice if there were some sources mentioned with articles. I want to know more.

Maneesh Mahlawat

Hi Mahlawat, You have put a good question. The logic as you give is one of the reasons. Not much has been discussed about Jats and Buddhism so we need to search it more. Jats have been the first to adopt religions be it Buddhism, Jainism, Islam, Sikhism or Hinduism. It is obvious when all were Buddhist Jats were also Buddhist. We are considering Kushans, Mauryanas as Jats. Jat historians have provided references for these facts. That proves Jats had spread the Buddhism to their best efforts. I will put authentic references when it comes to me. Thanks, --Lrburdak 01:43, 7 June 2007 (EDT)

Vedic Literature on Jatland Wiki

Hellow Burdak ji,

I notice that Jatland Wiki's main page http://www.jatland.com/home/Main_Page is uneditable. I think it would be a good idea to put some short books by Swami Dayanand on the website. Would it be possible to add one more title below "Arya Samaj"? The new title could be "Vedic and Arya Samaj Literature" or a similar one. My intention is to put entire texts of some books by Swami Dayanand - the text will be in Hindi. Some of his books are short (लघु ग्रन्थ) such as गोकरुणानिधि, आर्योद्देश्यरत्‍नमाला, व्यवहारभानु, संस्कारविधि etc. Actually, 'Gokarunanidhi' is available on the website of Arya Samaj Jamnagar but it is a scanned version - they have also put up a scanned version of Satyarthprakash on their website. If we do a similar exercise, I hope it is not the violation of any copyright.

While typing a voluminous book like Satyarthprakash is time-consuming, the short ones mentioned above could be typed and put on Jatland Wiki. If a suitable slot at main page itself (or wherever you feel fit) is created, I can accomplish this task in a short time.

Dndeswal 04:23, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Thanks Deshwalji for nice suggestion about books from Vedic and Arya Samaj literature. See what you want is in Books on Jat History. --Lrburdak 05:34, 20 August 2007 (EDT)
Hellow Buurdak ji, I have added text to page http://www.jatland.com/home/Arya_Samaj_Literature. You may do necessary formatting, if needed. I feel the first 3-4 lines should have a little bigger font and be in the centre of the page. Shall add text of Karunanidhi later. But it is OK that both these 'Laghu-granths' of Swami Dayanand are contained on a single page like this? Dndeswal 08:22, 26 August 2007 (EDT)

Just an idea Sir. Dont you feel that once the page like आर्योद्देश्यरत्‍नमाला is posted, it should be uneditable i.e. for a book of literature, there is hardly anything to be edited by any other member except authorised editor (in this case yourself). If you feel fit, this page should be made uneditable. I have checked every 'matra' and dot etc. in Hindi text and it is a ditto copy of the original book. Once गोकरुणानिधि is posted by me, that also may be made uneditable. Please do as you deem fit. Dndeswal 01:15, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

Hellow Burdak ji - Today I have finished putting text for Gokarunanidhi and Aryoddeshyaratanmala. Both these pages are now complete and I do not see any scope for editing as the text has been typed from the original book, as-it-is. You may consider making both these pages uneditable. Regards. Dndeswal 07:48, 16 September 2007 (EDT)

Some very famous villages are missing from list !

Hello,

I was going through the list of Jat-Villages in Bulandshahr District of Uttar Pradesh and found that very famous and big Jat Villages like Ahamdanagar, Unchaagaon, Baroda, Jatpura, Salempur and many more were missing. Please suggest how i can help, as i belong to this district.

Tips to edit

Hi Virhammir ji,

You can add villages by clicking Jat Villages link and then edit option at the top of this page. Add names as already given and putt squire brackets. After saving of the page name will appear in red. By clicking on that page name it will open and add info of the village. Hope that will do. Lrburdak 07:59, 16 September 2007 (EDT)

Burdak Sir, I have put Autobiography of Ram Prasad Bismil on Wiki (in Hindi). It is only 50% now, shall add the rest of it in Fourth (last) chapter. Shall also write a short introduction of Bismil in English in first (Introduction) part. I have uploaded his picture on the site but it is somehow not visible on Autobiography page. Please rectify this so that picture is also available. I hope to complete the entire task in another 2-3 weeks. Later, after completion of this task, you can also put its link suitably at Wiki home page and wherever you deem fit. Thanks.

Dndeswal 14:33, 23 November 2007 (EST)

Updating of articles on Ch. Sir Chhotu Ram and Ch. Mool Chand Siyag

Namaste Burdak ji.

I have added some Hindi text (quoted from a book) on Ch. Chhotu Ram. When you have time, please see to it.

Similarly, I have done the English translation of wiki page on Ch. Mool Chand Siyag. Have added a short para (penultimate one) regarding Ch. Siyag's cooperation with Ch. Chhotu Ram. But you have to do hyperlinking of words and make some corrections,in my English translation, as I am unfamiliar with Marwar region and hence, may have written wrong spellings of names of villages etc.

You may also like to highlight both these pages on homepage of wiki. I think the one on Mool Chand Siyag is already there. I think you may request Nitin to make some provision on Jatland's home page where "What's New in Wiki" may be prominently displayed. In the absence of it, members and readers are not attracted towards wiki pages.

Hi Laxman

Hi Laxman,

Please can you merge Jats into the main article Jat people so we have Jat people as main starting point this will make it much better. Jats should be put into the Jat people article so we just have Jat people on main page because Jat people is the main starting point. Having Jats there is confusing. Therefore, please can you merge Jats into the main article Jat people so we have Jat people as main starting point this will make it much better, thanks friend.--Jat50 21:10, 22 December 2007 (EST)

English translation of Ramdan Dookiya

Namaste Burdak ji

In both articles (Moolchand Siyag and Ramdan Dookiya), there is a mention about 'Lag-Bag' (लागबाग) tradition. I think it should also be explained in the footnote at the end of the article.

Thanks Deswalji, It is a great contribution. The English translation of Ramdan Dookiya by you is excellent. In the process of checking I have done minor corrections. Your question marks have been explained with explanatory notes. Thanks. Laxman Burdak 00:50, 10 February 2008 (EST)
Namaskar Deswaji, I have added foot note where ever the word has appeared. Thanks Laxman Burdak February 12th, 2008, 03:39 AM

Re: Namaste Burdak ji

Hope you are fine. We are all well. Thanks.

If the book does not have copyright problem you can do it on Jatland Wiki. Open Jatland Wiki. Create a page in the name of title of book eg Jat History Book by Joon. Open this page and paste the content. We will do editing later. You should have content in electronic form on your PC. If there is problem e.mail me the content I will do it.

Thanks,

Re: Namaste Burdak ji

March 5th, 2008, 09:19 AM Burdak ji Namaskar,

Thanks for the reply ... this book needs to be uploaded on some other site ... and perhaps there would be no copyright issue.

I was just willing to know how you have build the pages out of it .... you did it manually by editing it or such kind of forum/wikki sites do it automatically?

Regards, Jitender Hooda

Answer

It is done manually. Then we edit to make its sections, links and categories. Which book are you intending to upload? Uploading can be done on Yahoo Jat history group also. But that is not searchable. Wiki content is highly searchable. Jatland Wiki entries come next to Wikipedia search entries. Regards, Laxman Burdak March 5th, 2008, 09:43 AM

"Veerbhoomi Haryana"

Hellow Burdak ji - thanks for noticing the page. Only the last few paragraphs remain to be added. I would complete this in a day or two and shall let you know. Bifurcating the pages is a good idea. Dndeswal 11:08, 4 April 2008 (EDT)

Reformatting and bifurcation of pages by you is excellent, Burdak ji. The text addition from my side is also complete now - the whole book is there on the pages. I have today done a few minor adjustments (gaps between paras etc.) so that the title may look more attractive. You may hyperlink more words in the pages, as you deem fit.

I want to point out that following route appears on each page :

Main Page < Dharmpal Singh Dudee < Haryana < Veerbhoomi Haryana

I think there is some fault which needs to be rectified - it should be "books on Jat history", rather than "Dharmpal Singh Dudee". Please give a thought to this.

I intend to go through the text once more, for comparison with the book, as a final "proof reading", so that minor typing errors, if any, may be rectified. After a few days, you may make the pages of book as 'uneditable'.

You may also consider putting the link of "Veerbhoomi Haryana" on the main wiki page under "What's New" - to attract readership. Please also put the link of Swami Omanand's page under "What's New", since I am going to expand it considerably in the next few days.

Thanks. Dndeswal 01:44, 5 April 2008 (EDT)

About village Jalalpur

Jalalpur: This is mentioned as Jat village which is not correct. Actually it is a 100% muslim village and not a single Jat family lives there. I know this because my mother is from Kharkhari (hardly 300 metres in distance from Jalalpur). I have edited information about Kharkhari too but not Jalalpur as I wanted to bring it to your notice first.

Kharkhari is a village of Chauhan jats and not Tomars. All the jats in Kharkhari trace back their ancestary to Jesi baba. Jesi came from Ramala village after some British officer gifted him land in Kharkhari. Till 2-3 decades back people from Kharkhari used to cultivate lands in Ramala too which they gifted back to their relatives in Ramala. Vijay123

Hi Laxman

Hi Laxman, I hope you are well. When you use Professor B.S Dhillon's e-book for citations do NOT cite his book ONLY but cite the ORIGINAL references he has used in his book. This will make the information INDEPENDENT. You should cite the PRIMARY references he is USING not directly his book. For example for Jat Village population figures you are citing his book, you should NOT be doing this, you SHOULD CITE his references he used e.g. 1911 census of British Punjab - Major General Arthur Edward Barstow [1]. ALWAYS use Professor B.S Dhillon's references he USED IN HIS BOOK as cites not the book its self, this is the way the book was designed as a collection of references for research. Best regards.--Jat50 15:07, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

I was going through some famous jat people on other sites. When I opened our Jatwiki and found very little information about Sir Chajju Ram, I thought to edit it but I guess you are the right person to do it about the Greatest Jat. That site also has his picture, Family picture and One gentleman has wrote his biography which is mentioned at the end. I also edited and put one link of a site dedicated to Ch Devi Lal's page.Kindly see it.

Hi Laxman

Hi Laxman I have 2 things I need to say to you:

1. If you wish to put up Professor B.S Dhillon's book I support you. I think its a good idea. If the author ever wants the book taken off Jatland you can remove it within 1 day so put it online.

2. Please remove or move the URL of this archive disscusion on Jatland (link below) as when a google search on the word "Jat people" is conducted it appears number one. It does not show our Jat community in good light so please remove or move the URL from Jatland.

Best regards.

--Jat50 05:45, 29 June 2008 (EDT)

Thank you

I have put History and study of the Jats by Professor B.S Dhillon. Please see and edit to improve it.

Rest of the amendments you suggested are on Forums of Jatland. I am not editor over there. We have to request to the administrator.

Great Community Service

Dear Sh. Burdak, I sincerely compliment you on your painstaking initiative notwithstanding the demands of your important official responsibilities. Based upon the research material that you have put together through this site and your efforts, it may be good idea to publish it by way of a book on Jats. Books on authentic Jat history are not too many as majority of the writings tend to fall prey to eulogistic propoganda. I would also suggest you to catalogue different English and Hindi references on Jats as well as indicate the places where these books (at least most) might be available. Some libraries where these books are available may be mentioned for general information of browsers. Once again, many congratulations and please keep up the good work. Regards. Tejveer Singh

Thanks

Thanks Tejpalji for your comments. It is the good will of people like you and our community that we have been able to compile the things about Jat matters here. You can see info about books at Books on Jat History.

Aakhir Jeet Hamari

Namaste Burdak ji. I am going to post text of Hindi novel आखिर जीत हमारी after a few days, and have placed the link in "Books on Jat History". If technically it is necessary to title the page in Roman letters, you may do so as you wish.

I think the pages on "Veerbhoomi Haryana" may now be made uneditable.

Regards.

Namaskar Deswalji,

I have made Veerbhoomi Haryana un-editable. If technically it is necessary to title the page in Roman letters I will do but no problem in Wiki.

hierarchy within the Jat Gotras

16-11-08 07:39 PMmalvika Namaskar Burdak Ji, Is there a hierarchy within the Jat Gotras? e.g. Some Jats claim that their Gotra is superior to other Jat Gotras? Thanks and best regards, Anju

All Jats are considered equal. No Jat is superior or inferior. This peculiar speciality is within Jat community only. Laxman Burdak 06:46, 17 November 2008 (EST)

Re: Regarding new move at JL wiki

Hello Laxman ji,

Hope you are doing well and in pink of your health.

Another day I was thinking on the lines of Interesting names Jat's have got in the history.Like few names very very popular but in extinction phase now.Like Ramphal, Sube, Ram Mehar,Kurda Ram, Jage, Angoori,Kela, Bhateri, etc.

What do you think?

Hi Samarji, Good idea to keep their history alive. We can put articles about them on JL wiki. Collect some content and their photos from the records. Regards, Laxman Burdak December 20th, 2008, 07:34 AM

Re: Suraj Sujan Magzine

Hello Sir,

I'm writing to you in reference to a magzine I have found from Mahararaja Suraj Mal Society Delhi. In every edition they publish a good article about Jat History like this time , Some Dr Natthan Singh has written one sanskrit Sholak Ajay Jatro Hunam i'e Huno per vijay paane wale jat hain.. And say more about Malav and Shudrak gotra jats who defeated Alxender under the leadership of Chandergupta Maurya. I thought to make you aware by this Magzine, inany case if you dnt know. Regarding wiki

Hello laxman ji,

Happy new year!

I was going through 'life, culture of jats in wiki section and thought to tell you few points:

1.In religion , Jats are devotee of Hanuman Ji as you must be knowing, but there was no picture of Hanuman ji.Secondaly in every village there are huge faith in small Khedas i.e small dieties.

2.Youth especially Jats are more inclined to sports like Kabbadi and kushti. There is tradition of Akhadas and it has given various national and intenational level wrestlers. In these times Kushti and Kabaddis are sole source of entertainment in villages on occasions like Holi and Fagun.

Thakur Desraj's book

Burdak ji, Namaste and Happy New Year.

Somehow I find Jat Historygroup at Yahoo not very useful for common readers. Only those who are members, can read the pages. I am trying to search Thakur Desraj's book at this group, which is reportedly available online. I may have navigational problems but am unable to find it (I am now a member of this Group). Apart from a few MS-Word documents of Ravi Choudhary, there is not much data over there, though I have not read all discussion pages.

Moreover, after going through those word documents by Raviji, I find that they are merely English translations of some portions of Swami Omanand's book, the excerpts from which I have already posted (in Hindi). Hence, there is not enough research-oriented material in Yahoo pages. Sheer translation into English is not sufficient, though it could be somewhat useful. I am of the opinion that without the knowledge of ancient scripts and some knowledge of Sanskrit, real research on Jat history is not possible.

Can it be possible that Thakur Desraj's book is put on Jatland Wiki, the pages of which are accessible to everyone - members or non-members? This is a way to make it more popular. I think the book is in some srange font, not unicode.

Regards. Dayanand Deswal 2-1-09, 05:45 AM

Re:Thakur Desraj's book

Thanks Deswalji,

Wish you happy and prosperous new year 2009

The Yahoo Jat History Deshraj Book is in Arjun Font. You have to download and instal Arjun Font in your PC to read it.

Since it is not in Unicode it can not be uploaded on Jatland Wiki unless converted to Unicode. This is exactly the problem once I had put it on forums before our members. It has to be typed in Unicode.

Regards, Laxman Burdak 09:32, 3 January 2009 (EST)

Please give me the link. Let me see. If the work is not too lengthy, I could perhaps try to re-type it. Regards. DN Deswal 3 January 2009, 08:31 AM

Re:Thakur Desraj's book

Deswalji,

Here is the link - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JatHis...ts%20-Desraj-/

He has also given Arjun Font in it. Book is too lengthy. Let us wait till some software is developed to convert Arjun Font to unicode. Let us put this discussion on talk page of JL Wiki. That will help to trace history of JL Wiki.

Regards, Laxman Burdak 09:32, 3 January 2009 (EST)

Deswal ji and Laxman ji,

An abridged edition of Thakur Deshraj's book prepared by me has been published by Surajmal Memorial Education Society, New Delhi. Its reprint of 2009 came out a couple of monhs back. All relevant material has been kept intact in the abridged edition. The portions relating to Sikhs have been kept out for a possible second volume. The mistakes in Sanskrit text quoted in the 1989 full edition have been removed.Type set is also computer oriented. You may try to digitise this edition. The Society would be glad to offer a copy for the purpose. regards s.s.ranaDrssrana2003

Improvements needed for Jatland

Dear Sateswar,

I suggest some Changes needed for Jatland:

1. Jatland Wiki had a system of peculiar alert system of messages. When one opened a page on Wiki a coloured strip with message used to appear prominently. After integration this has stopped. It may be restored.

2.Jatland Wiki shows number of views of each article. Is it possible to bifurcate views by members and guests ? The forums main page shows this bifurcation. This will indicate the popularity of a page.

3. Jatland shows number of posts contributed by member on Forums only. It does not include posts on Wiki. Is it possible to integrate forums with Wiki contribution so that all posts are included in this number?

4. Jatland Wiki has a user page. It is meant for his personal info of the member. Presently not many members are using this page. Can user page be integrated with the profile of member on Forums?

Regards,

Laxman Burdak 23:12, 12 January 2009 (EST)

Dava and Dahiya

Sunday, May 31, 2009 5:27:06 PM

Dear Sir

I have seen a great contribution of yours in Jatland.com. I must thanks to you in millions from me and the whole Jat community for bringing such useful information in to this electronics medias. I am an Ex-Serviceman Entrepreneur having a business related to Aircraft Parts & Servicing in Goa.

I wanted a small query about my gotra. By gotra I am Dahiya belongs to Vill. Thalarka Teh Nohar Raj.. Can you please define that the Dahiya or दावां are same gotras or different. My Grand father migrated from Vill Mandori of Tehsil Bhattu Hisar. Our for-fathers are from Boras Village near Jodhpur.

The Bahi Bhats says that we are dava or दावां not Dahiya where as according to our for-fathers we are actual Dahiya not दावां according to them it is a nik name of Dahiya only. Is any where any Dava or दावां gotras are existing ij Jats. Thanks and best regards ... Rameshwar Dahiya

Reply

Hi Rameshwarji,

Thanks for your kind words. We have given some content about your village at Thalarka. We have also given some content about Dava gotra at http://www.jatland.com/home/Dahva. Here we find that Dava (दावा) Dahava (दहवा) Dahva (दहवा) are same.

Kindly see comparison of gotras in different countries by Bhim Singh Dahiya at Jats_the_Ancient_Rulers_(A_clan_study)/Appendices/Appendix_II

Dava is very likely to be sanskritised as Darva, the way Gujar becomes Gurjar in sanskrit. Darva is related with Dabas. Dahiya and Dabas are considered to have common ancestors. so we can also say Dava and Dahiya are related. Kindly expand Dava so that we can find further links.

Special Thanks to Mr. L.R.Burdak

Respected Mr. Burdak,

Special thanks to you for providing a common platform to share their origin & closeness among each other....

Would like add few thoughts (As being a youngester & Keen in MY community)...

  1. New JAT generation need to be motivated to come in forefront for the community. Our main aim is to enhacing the contribution of Youth in this stream. There is no doubt about this that any yougester will go through the achievements & history of their anncestor, he/she will definately be motivated...But our agenda must to MOTIVATE him
  2. Integration all the Mushrooming JAT social forum, JAT community must be under one roof rather nuclear gatherings
  3. Each must take a oath to help each other

May or may not be agree to the above mentioned points. But got space to share my views hence DONE this.

Thanks a ton again

Warm Regards.. Nishant Choudhary

New Default Style and other changes

burdakji,

a bunch of changes -

  • jatland's homepage now directs to the wiki main page. this is now the welcome page to the site. lets keeps edits to the page to a minimum for now.
  • the new default style for the wiki is called vbulletin. integrates with the forums. you might be using a different def style, so important to check in that style that things look fine (should not be any diff, but just to be sure). this is just the style, so all features should be as is.
  • for the welcome header of specific pages, lets just use < h3 > < /h3 > instead of the custom code we were using. see main page or gotras page as example. we should edit the headers as we go to through other pages. ideally, we do not even need to use the "welcome to xyz page" message, though it might be ok to use on index pages (only).

also let the other active editors know abt the changes.

nitin.

Sihag and Suhag articles...

Respected Sir,

According to wiki page (Suhag), Suhag jats ruled over pallu or pallukot but ironically it it is known that before rathore's rule, only (Sihag) jats rule was in pallu for centuries. All the info on suhag wiki page is about sihag jats, you can see discription of Sihag clan on this page of book by Ram Swarup Joon-http://www.jatland.com/home/History_of_the_Jats/Chapter_V It is known that earlier Suhag and Sihag were same gotra(clan) and in cource of time 'i' was changed to 'u' and in my view you should merge or redirect (SUHAG) article into (SIHAG) as all the information which is on Suhag page is now added by me to (asiagh or sihag) wiki page. Moreover there is no relation of Suhag jats to 'suhag' word related to marriage and it is just a mere coincidence.

thanks!

Respected burdak sahab,

Abhi me dhanna bhagat ke bare me padh raha tha. mene suna hai ke dhanna bhagat village Morla tehsil Malpura Dist Tonk ka niwasi tha. Morla village aaj bhi Dhanna Bhagat ka Morla ke naam se mashoor hai. Morla village me Dhanna Bhagat ka Nada (Small pond shaped khet) aaj bhi mojood hai. but i have no evidence. aaj raat ko satsang ke doran is bare me meri satsangiyon se baat bhi hui thee. but no result. jabki wiki me dhanna bhagat ko chouru village ka bataya gaya hai. plese is bare me kuchh roshni dalne ki kripa kare. rest is next. Article: Decline of Vidic culture and revival of Nagavanshis (correction of spellings)

Dear Sir, It is a great pleasure to communicate with You. I would like to have Your attention towards the article: Decline of Vidic culture and revival of Nagavanshis. Respected Sir, in the title of this article, the spellings of Vedic are incorrectly mentioned as Vidic. I would like to request You to look into this matter. I tried to correct them by myself, but unfortunately it did't worked out. Instead the page went missing!!! Maybe because the page has been created with the title: Decline of Vidic culture and revival of Nagavanshis, by You; and when I attempted to correct the spellings of Vedic, the website just created another page withthe title: Decline of Vedic culture and revival of Nagavanshis with No Text, for which I am really sorry! Please look into the matter Sir! Thank You! Moar 11:53, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Article Jats' section: जाट शब्द कैसे बना (expert's overview needed)

Dear Sir, Please have a sharp look at these lines from the article Jats (section: जाट शब्द कैसे बना) :- आज से दो हजार वर्ष पूर्व की प्राकृत भाषा की पुस्तकों में संस्कृत 'ज्ञ' का स्थान 'ज' एवं 'त' का स्थान 'ट' हुआ मिलता है. Dear Sir, I would like to have your attention towards the last line of the Hindi text. While describing the changes occured; when the place of संस्कृत भाषा was taken by प्राकृत भाषा, कृत has been described, to be written as कट, showing that 'त' has been replaced by 'ट' . But then why the same has not been implemented to मृत , why the word describing the change is said to be written as, मत ; here 'त' has not been shown replaced by 'ट' . I want to know that is it simply a mistake, or in place of मृत , the word actually written is मत , AND NOT 'मट' . And IF, in this case, it is not a mistake, then why there is a mention of the word मृत in the article, while no change has been noticed. And IF it is a mistake, the, it deserves to be corrected. Please look into the matter, Sir. Thanks! Moar 18:34, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Following Up QUERY: Article Jats' section: जाट शब्द कैसे बना (expert's overview needed)

Respected Sir, Thank you for taking notice of my query. One more query that's continously running through my mind is that, while the change from कृत has been described, to be written as कट; similarly, the change from मृत has been described, to be written as मत (which would be possibly corrected as मट). But Sir, in both the cases we found one more change as well, both of the words are described to be wrtten as KAT (कट) and MAT (मट), and not KRIT (कृट) and MRIT (मृट); but it does not seems appropriate. In both the cases, I understand the fact that, we are focused only on the change between त to ट only; but if possible , please have a scrutiny of this one as well. Thank You! Moar 08:18, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

Query: about 'Shloka- 16' in various articles !

Respected Sir,

I edited your article, Indo-Aryan origin of Jats, a few days back just because I saw some room for furthur improvements; as I am interested in contributing to develop contents on Jatland Wiki. And, I am thankful to you for accepting the changes made by me. While editing the article, along with editing grammer structure, and making changes to impropve the symmetry; I also noticed a section which requires your personal attention. In the section, Jats in Devasamhita, the Shloka- 16 from Deva Samhitais was explained as under:

Shiva explains Parvati about the origin of Jats in Shloka –16 of Deva samhita:

श्रृष्टेरादौ महामाये वीर भद्रस्य शक्तित: Shrishterādau mahāmāye Virabhadrasya shaktita: कन्यानां दक्षस्य गर्भे जाता जट्टा महेश्वरी Kanyānām Dakshasya garbhe jātā jattā maheshwarī.

Meaning – 'In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha’s daughtergana's (?) womb originated the caste of Jats'.

And, I was not satisfied with the way, daughtergana's was written. I concluded that it might just be a mistake; so I decided to edit it. But then, the question arose that what what should I write in place of it. So, I followed some articles, in which this section has been mentioned. They were: Origin of Jats from Shiva's Locks, Origin of the Jats, Deva Samhita.

Interestingly , the section in the article 'Origin of Jats from Shiva's Locks' expalins as follows :

Translation – "Shiva said, In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha's daughter gani's womb originated the caste of Jats."

The section in the article 'Origin of the Jats' explains as follows :

Translation – "Shiva said, In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha's daughter gani's womb originated the caste of Jats."

BUT, The section from the article 'Deva Samhita' explains as follows :

Meaning – "In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and daughter of Daksha's gana's womb originated the caste of Jats."

And, in the section of the article Indo-Aryan origin of Jats, the explaination was written as follows:

Meaning – 'In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha’s daughtergana's (?) womb originated the caste of Jats'; which was changed to:

Meaning – 'In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha’s daughter Gani's womb originated the caste of Jats'; by me.

But Sir, I realised that it's just not done. I think what I have done does not helps the situation at all; as I have concluded that, in different section, two explainations are provided as follows:

  • 1. One is:

Translation – "Shiva said, In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha's daughter gani's womb originated the caste of Jats." (This text is written in your articles mentioned above, by you)

  • 2. While the other is:

Meaning – "In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and daughter of Daksha's gana's womb originated the caste of Jats." (I guess this what you were trying to write in the section of the article: Indo-Aryan origin of Jats, but by-mistake wrote the word, daughtergana's as a mistake, which was noticed by me.)

Now all I want to know is that whether the first one is a correct expalination of Shloka- 16 or the other one is a correct expalination of the Shloka ??????? (as both of the statements have Different Meanings, which is compromising the quality standard of the Encyclopedia.)

I thought that maybe the first one, that's why I tried to correct it by matching to the first one, but I am not sure about it. Furthur, there must be a common expalination in all the articles. So, please guide me by suggeasting that which one is correct.

Also, please tell me that whether the Gani mentioned here is the daughter of Daksha, or Gani signifies the attendants of his daughter, in case the first one is correct ???????

And please note that: despite of whichever is correct, please note that gani or gana, both are redirected gana; which itself is redirected to Ganesha, in which the introduction says as follows,

Ganesha (गणेश or श्रीगणेश), "lord of the hosts," also spelled as Ganesa and Ganesh, often also referred to as Ganapati, is one of the most well-known and venerated representations of God. He is the second son of Shiva and Parvati, and the 'consort' of Buddhi. Gaṇas (Devanagari: गण) were attendants of Shiva and lived in Kailasa. Ganesha, second son of Shiva, was chosen as their leader by Shiva, hence his title Ganapati, "lord of ganas".

Sir, please just give the answer to my query, and I will make changes to the articles' sections', wherever required, by myself. Till then, I am restoring the text written before I edited, which I believes resembles to the second one.

I hope that You understand my concern! Thanks! Sincerely: Hardeep Moar 18:02, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

You will find it really interesting that in the article Origin of Jat people from Shiva's Locks on Wikipedia, they have used both of the explainations mentioned above for the expalination of a the same Shloka, in a single article, one after another in different sections. I really think that we should work it out on Jatland Wiki, as a number of people seems to have confusion regarding this. Moar 19:27, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

gani is the word used by Thakur Deshraj on page 87 of Jat Itihas. We can change it to gani. Thanks for your efforts. Laxman Burdak 15:06, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Following Up Query: about 'Shloka- 16' in various articles !

Respected Sir,

Thank you very much for taking notice of my query, and answering it. Really, I am very greatful to you. As, you have suggested that the word gani should be preferred over gana; now I will make the required changes to all the articles in which Shloka-16 is there. But Sir, it still left me with two options, they are as under:

1. First one is:

Translation – "Shiva said, In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and Daksha's daughter gani's womb originated the caste of Jats". (This one suggestes the origin of the caste from Virbhadra and womb of the daughter of Daksha, whose name is gani)

2. Second one is:

Meaning – " Shiva said, In the beginning of the universe with the personification of the illusionary powers of Virabhadra and daughter of Daksha's gani's womb originated the caste of Jats". (This one suggestes the origin of the caste from Virabhadra and womb of the daughter of Daksha's gani; here I think that maybe gani is used as a word for female ganas, meaning attendents as expalined in the article Ganesha. I have also mentioned the information from the article below.)

I think that the first one is a correct explaination, but I am not 100% sure about it. As there must be a correct expalination in all the articles, please guide me by suggeasting that which one is correct.

Now,

  • I want to know is that whether the first one is a correct expalination of Shloka- 16 or the second one is a correct expalination of the Shloka ??????? (as both of the statements still have Different Meanings)

And please note that: despite of whichever is correct, please note that gani is redirected to gana, wherever it is mentioned in your articles; which itself is redirected to Ganesha, in which the introduction says as follows,

Also,

  • Should gani be continued to be redirected to gana, in case it is the name of Dsksha's daughter ???????
  • I think that if it's the name of Daksha's daughter, then the first alphabet of her name should be written in captal, like Gani and not gani ???????

I will be greatful to you if you could please answer these 3 questions. Thanks ! Sincerely: Hardeep Moar 17:01, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Gana and Gani

Hardeepji,Gana and Gani are male female combination with same meaning. Gani is not name but more than one daughters. Head of Ganas is Ganesh. So it should be taken that way only. We can delink Gana and Gani from Ganesh. Laxman Burdak 17:20, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Respected Sir,

Query: article 'MOR'

Respected Sir,

Today, while visting the page Mor, I found that the Vansh of this Gotra is described to be of Nagavanshi Lineage, in the introduction section.

But Respected Sir:

  • Since Jats are the purest Aryans in India, and belong to the first race of Aryan invaders belonging to “Solar race” . This means that many Jats have the Suryavanshi Lineage.
  • Mahavamsa describes Chandragupta as coming of Kshatriya clan of Maurya:
"Mauryanam Khattyanam vamsha jata" . (Geiger Trans p 27). It means "Mauryas are Kshatriyas of Jat clan".

Also, as we all know that in 1979 the famous Jat historian B.S.Dehiya published a paper entitled "The Mauryas: Their Identity", Vishveshvaranand Indological Journal, Vol. 17 (1979), p.112-133. And, in this now classic treatise, B.S.Dehiya proved several points, including the following:

  • The Mauryas, Muras, or rather Mors, were Jats, and hence Scythian or East Iranic in origin.
  • The primordial Jat religion was that of the original Iranic race, namely monotheist Sun-worship , which they and their Maga priests carried wherever they migrated (p.119, 128).

Thus, we can conclude that Mor, Maur, Maurya, Mauri are exactly the same people. So, it obviously means that they belongs to the same Vansh too!

Ands we already know that Jats are the purest Aryans in India, and belong to the first race of Aryan invaders belonging to “Solar race” . This means that many Jats have the Suryavanshi Lineage.

Also, by going through the page 118 of the paper entitled "The Mauryas: Their Identity", Vishveshvaranand Indological Journal, Vol. 17 (1979) by B.S.Dehiya, we can conclude that:

  • Mor is not an Indian word and has no connection whatsoever with the peacock. It is a Central Asian clan name of the Jats and means the head or crown. That is why Divyāvadāna, the Ceylonese chronicle, states that Mauryas were `crown-headed' kshatriyas (mūrdkābhishiktakshatriyāḥ), because that is exactly the meaning of the word, Mor.

I have check the article Kshatriya on Wikipedia and I have found that they has also accepted Mauryas to be of Suryavanshi Lineage in it. I have also come to know that Mauryas claimes decent from Shri Kush, eldest son of Shri Rama.

So, I think we should list them under the Suryavanshi Lineage. I think we should consider the above mention facts. I would be eagerly waiting for Your reply! Thanks!

Following up Query: article 'MOR'

Respected Sir,

After going through the following web-pages:

I think we do not have a strong reason to conclude that they cannot not be listed as people belonging to Solar race, and must belong to any other Lineage than this one.

And, after going through the following web-pages:

  • [2] (some home-work done by me)

I believe we have enough a reason, to list them as people belonging to the Solar race.

I think the concept to consider them as people belonging to the Solar race outweighs the Nagavanshi's.

I think we should list them under the people beloging to the Solar race. I believe that we may conclude that they are the purest Aryans in India, and belong to the first race of Aryan invaders belonging to “Solar race” (a legacy of the wonderful research work done by Respected Late Sh. Bhim Singh Dahiya Sir, and extremely wonderful research work by You, Respected Sir).

So, I kindly request that we should consider the above mentioned facts, and list them as people belonging to Solar race (or Suryavanshi Lineage). I am really looking forward to this one, Sir!

Sincerely: Hardeep Moar 09:29, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

And, Respected Sir,

Considering them as people belonging to Solar race (Suryavanshi Lineage), does not contradict with the text from the page: http://www.jatland.com/home/Indo-Aryan_origin_of_Jats ; on which we are highly focused. I request your re-view over my home-work here as well: [3] . I am looking forward for Your response. Thanks!

Permission Requested !

Respected Sir,

  • As We have successfully concluded that Mor gotra belongs to the Suryavanshi Lineage (Solar race), and not Nagavanshi Lineage; therefore I suggest the removal of Gotras from the section, here: जाट जाति की उत्पत्ति के सिद्धान्त> नागवंशी मूल> नागवंश से उत्पन्न कुछ जाट गोत्र हैं:

http://www.jatland.com/home/Jat_Jati_Ki_Utpatti_Aur_Vistar#.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.9F_.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.A4.E0.A4.BF_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.80_.E0.A4.89.E0.A4.A4.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.AA.E0.A4.A4.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A4.E0.A4.BF_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.87_.E0.A4.B8.E0.A4.BF.E0.A4.A6.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A7.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.A8.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A4

of the page: http://www.jatland.com/home/Jat_Jati_Ki_Utpatti_Aur_Vistar.

But Sir, as this is page which is of very high importance, so I believe Your approval is a must for doing this.

I think, We should add them to the list, here: जाट जाति की उत्पत्ति के सिद्धान्त> सूर्यवंशी मूल> सूर्यवंश में वर्गीकृत मुख्य जाट गोत्र:

http://www.jatland.com/home/Jat_Jati_Ki_Utpatti_Aur_Vistar#.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.9F_.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.A4.E0.A4.BF_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.80_.E0.A4.89.E0.A4.A4.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.AA.E0.A4.A4.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A4.E0.A4.BF_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.87_.E0.A4.B8.E0.A4.BF.E0.A4.A6.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A7.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.A8.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A4

So, I seek Your permission from removing them from the former list stated above, and add to the second one stated above.

  • Respected Sir, some time back, I requested a correction in the line: मृत के स्थान पर मत हुआ मिलता है. You told me that We will have to check from the source: ठाकुर गंगासिंह: "जाट शब्द का उदय कब और कैसे", जाट-वीर स्मारिका, ग्वालियर, 1992, पृ. 7.

As, the section: जाट शब्द कैसे बना has been removed from the article page JATS; and a new page has been created (Jat Jati Ki Utpatti Aur Vistar), and it has been added to it (with a title change: ज्ञात से जाट शब्द बना, with some more text added to it). While viewing this page, I have noticed that it has been corrected by You, Sir .

But, as this section (जाट शब्द कैसे बना) appears in some other pages as well like:

http://www.jatland.com/home/Indo-Aryan_origin_of_Jats#.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.9F_.E0.A4.B6.E0.A4.AC.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A6_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.88.E0.A4.B8.E0.A5.87_.E0.A4.AC.E0.A4.A8.E0.A4.BE

and

http://www.jatland.com/home/Etymology_of_Jat#.E0.A4.9C.E0.A4.BE.E0.A4.9F_.E0.A4.B6.E0.A4.AC.E0.A5.8D.E0.A4.A6_.E0.A4.95.E0.A5.88.E0.A4.B8.E0.A5.87_.E0.A4.AC.E0.A4.A8.E0.A4.BE

I am aware of these two only. So, I have corrected it here as well, after viewing the correction in the page: Jat Jati Ki Utpatti Aur Vistar

But, as this is a very important section too, so, I believe I must let You know about this change done by me. Please let me know, if I have done anything that I shouldn't have.

I would be waiting for Your permission to edit, regarding my first question above. Thanks!

Query: replacing Unicode with IPA

Respected Sir,

I have a question for You. Sir, I have noticed that Template:Unicode is simply Not Working on Jatland Wiki, which I believe is a matter of concern! But, I have noticed that using Template:IPA has been a great deal. And, I am already replacing Unicode with IPA; because Unicode is not doing it's job, and which in turn is compromising the quality standard of representation of articles on the site.

Actually, after taking notice of the fact that Unicode is not performing it's job, I decided to loo out for a solution, and I visited this following page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Unicode

And, in it's See Also section I noticed that there are many options available like:

  • Template:IPA — to produce symbols from the International Phonetic Alphabet
  • Template:Mufi — Forces a font which supports the MUFI characters.

And, as I am technically not sound, so I decided to experiment with each-one of the above, And I noticed that Template:IPA is performing the require operation, in which Template:Unicode was not successful. So, wherever I saw that Unicode is not working, I replaced it with IPA.

Should I continue to do so wherever I site such a problem or you have a suggestion for me ??????? Beacuse, so far I have not done much replacements, and I can easily identify and replace them within an hour or two, before the count goes way ahead. But, we should look after the quality standars also.

I also took-up this matter with Respected Dayanand Deswal Sir, and Respected Nitin Dahiya Sir, because Deaswal Sir's talk page suggested that He is quite familier with the Template usage; but both of them have not replied to me, and it's been a very long time since I took up this matter with them. Thanks!

Copyright Issue: Requesting Guidance!

Respected Sir,

I hope You are doing great. Sir, I am aware of the fact that submitting any copyrighted work without prior permission is not allowed ; but I have something to discuss here regarding that. Sir, in Jatland Library we have a book namely, History of the Jats by Respected Ram Sarup Joon Sir.

There is a line in this book, which I am interested in posting in some of the selected sections of a few pages as it is written by the author, wherever it's relevent. Please click here to have a look at the statement. Sir, I believe this is an excellent research-work, and I believe it deserves to be on a few relevent pages.

I am asking You about this because We have the whole book here on Jatland Library, and maybe, I have no idea but maybe Jatland Wiki has no copyright issue regarding this book. I am making this guess only because the whole book is in the Jatland Library. So, in case We don't have an copyright issue, then I would like to seek permission to add the statement viewable in the snippet view to various relevent pages; the statement is: Only amongst Jats........... Chandra Vansh; as can be seen by following the url <http://books.google.co.uk/books?ei=gYXFTcTRBIfsrQeXhJXCBA&ct=result&id=fe88AAAAMAAJ&q=Chandra+Vansh#search_anchor >. I want to know Sir, that whether the statement can be added as it is written by the author, just as it is .

Also, in case We may have a copyright issue Sir, could You please elaborate the statement, in a way, in which it does not breach the copyright guidelines, and we can add all the mentioned information as well. I tried to elaborate the statement in my own words, but it's just not working; but You are an expert and You would be able to elaborate it in a better way, in case We cannot add it as it is in the present form. Thanks!

Sincerely: Hardeep Moar 15:28, 1 June 2011 (EDT)

Saving long pages

Rajpalji, Saving long pages takes time. So better edit such pages section wise. After editing see that page has been saved and full content is visible. If we save in hurry and move to other pages in between it may be fatal for the page. You may loose a huge content. As it happened while you edited Arya Samaj page. A huge content got deleted. This change is visible when you see Recent changes in left panel. It appears with minus sign and red entry. I had to revert but in that case your editions get lost. It is better to open each section edit and save. Regards, Laxman Burdak 11:49, 16 February 2012 (EST)

Burdakji, Chaudhary has been given a page in the category of the gotras of the Jats but description and references do not show that it is so. Kindly clarify the real position. for your ready reference the quote is produced as under:

Chaudhari (चौधरी) Chaudhary (चौधरी) Choudhari (चौधरी) Choudhary (चौधरी) is title of Jats. These were empowered to collect taxes in certain villages. Jat Gotra families in villages

Rajpalji Jat Gotra families in a village are indicated by number in bracket with each Gotra. This gives a relative strength of Gotras. This is kept with purpose as largest population is earliest inhabitant. Fewer families are later migrants. Similarly population of other castes are indicating demography of the village so there is no harm in keeping them. These figures are useful statistics if some member has provided. So we need do not delete these figures. Regards, --Laxman Burdak 05:19, 23 March 2012 (EDT)

Secondly, the Punjab chapter, when completed, would contain about 351 pages (of the book), hence, the longest web-page. You may consider bifurcating this chapter into two or three separate sub-pages (also showing in the main index). Thanks, Regards. - Dndeswal (talk) 16:10, 9 September 2012 (EDT)

One Virendra Verma :Two wiki separate pages

Burdak Ji, In famous Jat Section U P, Justice Virendra Verma and another page assigned to Virendra Verma contain identical information on one person. Samprati Maurya

Friend, In Jat rulers of India visit and make necessary corrections and adjustments to my entry please. Thanks Samparti Maurya son of Dashratha and grandson of Asoka was a great patron of Jainism, who, according to Jinaprabhasuri ruled at Patliputra as ‘’lord of Bharata with its three continents, and was the great Arhanta to establish Viharas for Sramanas even in non-Aryan countries.” The dominions of Samprati probably also included Avanti and Western India. DrRajpalSingh (talk) 00:12, 9 October 2012 (EDT)

Ruler or only Famous people Freedom fighter

Kunwar Hukam Singh has been inserted in the category of famous rulers and Famous Jats but he was not a Ruler. Burdakji this is for your kind attention.

Famous Jat Yes. Ruler No

Khemkaran has been inserted in the category of famous rulers whereas he was never a king but was just a Faujdar, petty officer under the Mughals. He nay be shifted to the category of Famous Jats but not as a Ruler. Burdakji this is for your kind attention.

--JEETUTOMARJAT (talk) 22:59, 17 November 2012 (EST)

Jat people article on wikipedia

The Jat people page on wiki has been hijacked by a few users (sitush, sikh history) who are hell bent on not letting any + ve things said about jats.

  • I have changed the Introduction line to "jats are an elite cultivating caste" by providing multiple links. However, both of them conspired to get me blocked for 24 hours. IT seems that they are going to *revert back to the denigrating introduction of "jats are a non-elite tilling caste" every time. We must organize ourselves to fight against these people who try to sully the image of jats.
  • If2-3 Jat users together work on editing the Jat people wikipedia article, only then it can be suitably changed.

Tomar7 (talk) 14:06, 2 December 2012 (EST)

We need to provide info on Wikipedia with references. Decisions are taken by majority so your idea is welcome. There is need to make Jat people article a positive one. Laxman Burdak (talk) 22:34, 2 December 2012 (EST)

narwat jat gotra

http://wikimapia.org/378772/Kheri-Kalan check this sir one person said that narwat is tanwar .is this true plz give me some deatial

Kheri Kalan is situated in the east of faridabd, Haryana. Now this area is Known as NAHARPAR Area Also called Greater Faridabad .This is the largest village Of jats . This is the village commonly known as the village of Jats. Although all the communities like Pandit,Harijan,Balmiki,Dhobi ,Kumahar,Naee& Some Mushilim etc. lived here happilly. This Village is come into the existence after war fought against Aurangzeb arrond 1669 to carry the doli of a jat girl. That was the first war of jats fought with the help of Jely.Ballam etc .This village was founded by groups of people Mainly 'Angpal Tanwer Gottras'. But after the war there were a panchayat occur .In the Panchayat 'NARWAT'Title was given to the that group of people .Word 'Narwat'Means the VEER in hindi language. Later on the Title has been converted in to the Narwat Gottra as the All the people (Mainly Jat) are of Narwat gotra's.That was the tital Narwat. Narwat means for powerful men . Who fought against Aurangzeb. There were four mohalla's at that time. There named as follow's-- 1 Sultan (Badeka),2Mahboob(Hagga),3 Harnarayana ( kavva),4 Sitaram ( Munda and Githara). The Muslim mohalla's were at the time of existence. But after 1947 there were little bit of Muslim were remain and living here happily. This village is come in to the existence after the first war of Jat's against Aurangzeb. One Group of worriers start here to live near the talab. There are five pokheres(ponds)still remain in the existence. So therefore its named is called khade to Kheri .Becouse the more population .later on ,It become in to two part one is called Kheri Kalan where mainly Jat lived with the other casts,The second part now kwon as Kheri Khurd where Thakurs lived with some other cast. In Kheri Kalan village there is ancient temple of UMAMAHESHWER which now known as Khera Dadi mandir .All the people of village have full faith.People pray here for there better futur of the village. Now it is beautiful and largest village of faridabad.-------Chaudhary Hukam Chand Narwat

New gotras of Jats pages on Jat land Wiki

These days a number of pages have been created by giving references from Dalip Singh or Pema Ram's books. But nothing is told about their history origin villages etc. These pages could otherwise put to some better use. It seems not proper to quote the names of authors without giving at least one word more than mentioning the names only and creating page after page. Could you justify their utility, please.--DrRajpalSingh (talk) 09:29, 20 June 2013 (EDT)--DrRajpalSingh (talk) 09:29, 20 June 2013 (EDT)

Laxman Burdak (talk) 06:36, 8 April 2015 (EDT)

Laxman Burdak (talk) 06:44, 8 April 2015 (EDT)

Laxman Burdak (talk) 06:49, 8 April 2015 (EDT)

Laxman Burdak (talk) 03:36, 29 May 2015 (EDT)
