  • Abdul Hafiz VC (4 September 1925 – 6 April 1944) was an Indian Muslim recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was from Kalanaur, district Rohtak Haryana, India. He became martyr during World War II on 6 April 1944 north of Imphal, India.

  • Champa Lal Geel' (Gdr) (02.02.1975 - 05.02.1998)- From Sanjoo village, Nagaur district, Rajasthan, 2688719, The Grenadiers Regiment, Martyr Op Rakshak (J&K). He became martyr on 5.2.1998 in Jammu and Kashmir fighting with the militants. A school is renamed after him, ‘Shaheed Champalal Gil Government Primary School, Gilon Ki Dhani' as per decision dated 8.3.2018 by Education Minister of Rajasthan Govind Singh Dotasara‎‎.

  • Chandrashekhar Bidiyasar (LEMP) (01.10.1994 - 12.05.2023) He was from Ratau village in Ladnu tehsil of Nagaur district in Rajasthan. He was suffering from Blood Cancer and undergoing treatment at Navy Hospital Bombay. He died on 12.05.2023.
  • Charan Singh Saran - भोपालगढ़ तहसील के अंतर्गत कुड़ी गांव निवासी सीमा सड़क संगठन इकाई के जवान चरण सिंह सारण 24 फरवरी 2024 को अरुणाचल प्रदेश में ड्यूटी के दौरान अत्यधिक बर्फबारी में हुए एक हादसे में शहीद हो गए. जिनकी पार्थिव देह मंगलवार को कुड़ी गांव पहुंचा और यहां राज्य के सम्मान एवं गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर के साथ अंतिम संस्कार किया गया. जिसको लेकर गांव के युवा कार्यकर्ता अंतिम संस्कार में जनशालब के रूप में शामिल हुए. चरण सिंह सारण सड़क संगठन इकाई के जनरल रिजर्व इंजीनियरिंग फोर्स में सिपाही थे (भास्कर 28.02.2024)
  • Chhelu Ram - Company Havildar-Major Chhelu Ram (छेलूराम) (Garhwal) (10 May 1905 – 20 April 1943) was a Jat hero, recipient of prestigious Victoria Cross gallantry award, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was 37 years old, and a Company Havildar-Major in the 4/6th Rajputana Rifles, in the Indian Army during World War II when he sacrificed his life in a fierce battle in Tunicia.

  • Naib Singh Gill (Naik) (22.12.1939 - 03.12.1971), Vira Chakra (Posthumous), became martyr on 03.12.1971 in Operation Cactus Lily during Indo-Pak War-1971 in western sector. He was from village Mallewala in tahsil and district Faridkot of Punjab.

He became martyr on 12 December 1947 ahen Nand Singh led his platoon of D Coy in a desperate but successful attack to extricate his battalion from an ambush in the hills SE of Uri in Kashmir.

  • Narender Pal Singh Ahlawat (Captain) (06 July, 1939 - 15 August, 1964) was an officer of the Indian Army who was the first martyr of the 5 Kumaon Regiment. He sacrificed his life on the Indo-China border on 15 August, 1964. He played a significant role in the re-raising of the 5th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment from 1962-64. He was from village Dighal, Jhajjar, Haryana.

  • Pankaj Nauhwar (born:?-death:27.2.2019) became martyr in a plane crash in Badgam on 27.2.2019 during a special operation. He was from Jareliya village in Raya block of Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh. He was from He was posted at Shrinagar as Airman in Indian Air Force. Six Personnel of Indian Air force lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Badgam district of J&K on 27 February 2019 during a search operation against militants. Pankaj Nauhwar was one of them.

  • Pawan Kumar Khatkad (Captain) (15.01.1993 - 21.02.2016) was from Badhana, Jind district in Haryana, died fighting terrorists on Sunday 21.2.2016 in Pampore in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Captain Pawan Kumar of 10 Para attained martyrdom leading his men from the front in a tricky deliberate operation against the terrorists hiding in a government building in Pampore area on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Sunday morning.

  • Samsher Singh Samra (Second Lt) (10.06.1945 - 17.12.1971), Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous), became martyr on 17.12.1971 during Indo-Pak War-1971 at Meghna Heli Bridge, codenamed Operation Cactus Lilly. It was an aerial operation of the Indian Air Force during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, commencing India's involvement in Bangladesh Liberation War. He was from village Pakhoke in Taran Taran district of Punjab.

  • Sant Singh Gill (Lt.Col) (12.07.1921 - 09.12.2015) played very important role of bravery in Junagarh operation-1947, Indo-Pak War-1965 and Indo-Pak War-1971. He was twice awarded Mahavir Chakra for his acts of bravery. He retired in 1973 as Brigadier. He died on 09.12.2015. He was from Panjgrain Kalan village in tahsil and district Faridkot of Punjab.

He is from Kansala, Rohtak, Haryana. His father Satish Kumar Khokhar served in the Army for 28 years and retired as Honorary Captain.
